- Day 1
Rovaniemi
You'll arrive in Rovaniemi for a 6 pm welcome meeting. If your flight gets in early, there's time to walk around the city, check out Santa's workshop, or try a hike before the group gathers. After the meeting, you're invited to join your leader and fellow travelers for an optional welcome dinner to kick things off.

Rovaniemi
This morning starts with a leader-led walk through Rovaniemi to get oriented. Then you'll head to the Arctic Snowhotel, which is carved fresh each year with everything made of snow and ice. You can walk through the rooms and check out the ice bar. Back in town, you have options for the afternoon: visit the Arktikum museum or spend time on the Ounasvaara walking trail, which has great forest views from a wooden observation tower.

Rovaniemi to Luleå
You'll travel to Luleå, a coastal city in Swedish Lapland with well-preserved wooden houses throughout. The main activity is visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Gammelstad Church Town with a local expert leading a lantern tour, plus time inside a traditional church cottage. Later, you'll learn about Swedish baking traditions, specifically kladda bread. You'll actually try the techniques yourself and hear local folklore about how the way bread folds supposedly predicts future suitors.

- Day 4
Luleå to Abisko National Park
This morning you'll travel like locals do, taking a public bus or train from Luleå to Abisko National Park in the heart of Swedish Lapland. Once there, you'll rest and make sure you're dressed warmly. After dark, a local guide takes you out to hunt for the Northern Lights. If conditions cooperate, you could see green, red, and purple light displays dancing across the sky.

Landmarks Abisko National Park - Day 5
Abisko National Park
You'll take a day trip to a Sami Village in their homeland to meet local Sami people and learn about their traditional culture, traditional knowledge, and connection to nature. You'll meet a reindeer herder who'll share stories about how reindeer are central to their way of life. A traditional lunch with the locals is included. You'll return to Abisko for the night, where you're free to find your own dinner or bundle up outside to search for the Northern Lights.

Abisko to Tromsø
It's a longer travel day heading to Troms\u00f8. You'll start with a train to Narvik where you can stretch your legs and grab lunch. Narvik is an ice-free port with interesting World War II history, so if that interests you, the war museum is worth checking out. After that, you'll take a bus to Troms\u00f8, a vibrant Arctic city surrounded by mountains, fjords, and islands.

- Day 7
Tromsø
After breakfast, you'll do an orientation walk through Troms\u00f8's colorful houses with snowy peaks in the background. Your leader will show you around, then you get to choose what comes next: try snowshoeing to help local Arctic owls, join a whale watching trip, or soak in the sauna. In the afternoon, the group reunites for a guided visit to MACK Brewery, the world's most northernmost brewery, which was founded in 1877. You'll have your final evening in Troms\u00f8 to enjoy as you like.
