  My son will be 13 years old at the time of travel. Are there exceptions to the 15+ year old rule?

    The minimum age for this trip is 15 years old. Unfortunately this requirement is not negotiable due to the physical demands and safety considerations of the hikes. And Children who are significantly younger than 15 (for example, 13 years old at the time of travel) cannot be accommodated, with no exceptions.

  Do I need travel insurance? Do I need additional documents to my passport to enter those countries? What type of clothing for each country and preferably daily? How to acquire the additional tours? I've read there have been delays due to snow storms in Finland these days, do you recommend arriving one or two days before starting the tour, I'm traveling from Mexico?

    Travel insurance is compulsory on all of our international trips. At a minimum, your policy must cover:
    
    Medical expenses
    Emergency evacuation and repatriation
    If you are travelling internationally, you will not be permitted to join the tour unless your group leader or local representative has sighted:
    Proof of valid travel insurance
    The insurance provider's 24-hour emergency contact number
    We also strongly recommend a policy that covers:
    Personal liability
    Trip cancellation or curtailment
    Loss or theft of luggage and personal effects
    
    A valid passport is required and visa and entry requirements vary depending on nationality, so it is your responsibility to check with the relevant embassies or official government authorities to confirm whether you need visas or any additional documentation to enter each country on the itinerary.
    
    Nordic countries can be extremely cold, especially during winter months, with snow and icy conditions possible. We recommend packing:
    Thermal base layers
    Insulated, waterproof outerwear
    Warm hat, gloves, scarf
    Waterproof boots with good grip
    Please refer to the Packing section in the Essential Trip Information (ETI) document for a detailed and recommended packing list.
    
    Any optional tours or activities are arranged and booked locally during the trip, subject to availability. Your tour leader will provide guidance and assist with bookings once the trip has started.
    
    Given recent weather-related delays in Finland, and considering you are travelling from Mexico, we recommend arriving at least one to two days before the tour start date. This helps reduce the risk of missing the tour due to flight delays and allows time to recover from long-haul travel.
