Early morning finds you in Melk, where you can walk up to the Benedictine monastery that sits on the hilltop overlooking everything. The Wachau Valley around here is gorgeous with vineyards and small towns dotting the riverbanks. Later you'll cruise toward Vienna, pulling in by evening to Austria's lively capital.
