  Our overall experience was excellent. This is our first family tour trip. We really like Mariano our guide from Lyon to Switzerland. He's the best! Funny, helpful, sharing a lot of history of the places we've been too, very organized and very honest :). The tour provided us all good hotels, we even stayed in Hilton hotel!   Worst tour ever! Will not go again with any Europamundo tours! Very disorganized and they dont respond to your email/queries fast. Pick up from airport - late for 2.5 hours. And driver was rude! Hotel in Paris - Novotel Bagnolet was below 3 star! Location was very far from City centre, even uber drivers are saying its not a good location. Aircon is not working in the rooms, even the fridge, and safe was not working. We have to transfer room. Breakfast food was below expectation most especially their scrambled eggs. Tour guide in Paris - can't even speak good English and speaks mostly in Spanish. A lot of the passengers were very frustrated and mad. Tours were mostly in a rush. Not enough time to roam around to take pictures and grab a good meal. Tour bus was so full about 52 people. They changed itinerary last minute and even entrance to Versailles that should be included, they told us it was not at the last minute! Post accommodation hotel in was supposedly Courtyard by Marriot which was what was stipulated in our travel document but instead they booked us back at the crappy hotel - Novotel and to think we paid more $100 per night. Never again will I get a tour with Europamundo!. There were also a lot of complains from fellow travellers as they are really very disorganized!Show more

  Avoid this tour! I've traveled to almost 50 countries with several operators like G Adventures, TruTravels, EF Tours...
  Avoid this tour! I've traveled to almost 50 countries with several operators like G Adventures, TruTravels, EF Tours solo backpacking etc... and this was nowhere near the operating efficiency of those companies. Upon arrival there was no guide or information provided until that morning. 3 Languages were spoken so dont plan on conversing or getting info in a prompt manner because you have to wait. We missed out on many opportunities due to the lack of planning and misleading of this operation having them say they were holding tickets and taking our money then canceling last minute had we known this we wouldve booked excursions ourselves weeks in advance and I encourage anyone doing this tour to. The first day the guide left 4 people behind (Middle eastern) then the next day a different guide was an hour late and made us wait 50 minutes for a couple (non middle eastern hmmmm) after the Eiffel tower visit causing us to miss excursions. The 3rd day we had another different guide which she was excellent but again people were constantly late causing us to miss out on time in other places throughout the tour even at the rest stop they were late. The tour is so rushed you cant enjoy anything if you arent running through the stops. I recommend taking your own transportation in Switzerland as we ran into traffic costing us around 4 hrs. We finally just decided to navigate ourselves on the way back via train and it was quick, cheap, and easy allowing us to enjoy more of the city that we arrived late to. The best places on the Itinerary you will get maybe 2 hours at if lucky. There is no A/C in the rooms and it was hot with no fans nor option to open windows. There is no wifi or eating on the bus either so it is pretty much eat on your 1 hr stop at the towns or explore and go hungry your choice! Overall I strongly advise against using this company Europamundo (especially if you speak anything other than spanish)Show more

About the issues regarding the hotel, we wonder if you mentioned this to the guide because there was the option to open the windows but, it had to be requested. Unfortunately, after almost 2 years of not being in use due to the Covid pandemic, some A/C systems are failing and in need of extensive repair works, we are working with our partners to ensure that these issues are sorted out as soon as possible. All in all, Europamundo is a global company which takes pride in its global customer base and reach - we are also a very transparent company with an insatiable thirst for improvement, which is why we will use your feedback to better improve how we communicate with our customers and provide our services!   Overall, we really enjoyed the trip. Among the visit, effiel tower and Zurich will live in the mind lifelong. The schedule was well planned and executed by Europa Mundo. Isabal ( guide) is wonderful and was closely maintaining the group as a family. It is very important when there are multi cultural group together and there wasn't any conflicts through out this trip. Much needed improvement in future is Mike. The guide does her best to tell the information but Mike will make this better for a wider group of people. Hope you improve this.Show more

  Our tour was from Paris, to Normandy, to Brodeaux and back to Paris. The hotels were terrible. Dirty, cheap, broken beds, toilets and showers did not work. The included breakfast meals were disgusting. Instant egg mush and stale danish. Half of the coffee machines didn't work. The staffs were less than friendly. We had 2 different drivers: one was good, the other was all over the road. We had 3 different tour guides; 2 were OK but the 3rd was terrible (just kept reading out loud from of tour book). The tour was supposed to be in both Spanish and English, but they only spoke Spanish. None of the attraction tickets were included with the tour. Most of the tour was a drive-by experience as they did not allow time for you to do anything but use the restroom and eat quickly. A few times your meal had to come from a truck stop along the way (eat there or go hungry). During the tour they would try to up-sell you there evening side excursions. We tried one of them and it turned out to be a rip off. If you're looking for a great tour and good value for your money, go elsewhere.Show more
