  This was my first trip with Europamundo, and it will definitely be my last. A week before the tour started, they changed the itinerary—reducing the number of days in Paris and adding another city instead. I had plans in Paris and have to change them. When we arrived at CDG Airport from Mexico City, our group of 15 people had to wait up to two hours to be picked up, even after making several calls. The next morning, our tour guide, Angela, seemed stressed and started yelling at us. That’s not the way anyone should begin a vacation—being scolded by the guide. We took the "Hola Europa" tour, and I honestly don’t recommend it. In the smaller cities, we only stopped for an hour or two at most—just enough time to stretch our legs, take a few pictures, and look for a bathroom. There was barely any time to explore. The driver, Petrov, and Luisa, our guide on the last day, were very kind and professional. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of miscommunication between Europamundo and the agencies that sell their tours. I booked through Sears, and in my opinion, it wasn’t worth it.Show more

  Europamundo caters mostly to Spanish speaking tourists. Imagine your tour bus where majority are people from Latin America. Their tour guides are originally from Spain so they of course have preference to spanish speaking tourists. When they switch to English for translation, you already passed the point of interest that they were explaining about.Show more

  The good part: no major issues, friendly group leader. Bad part: very large group (barely fit on the bus), always rushed (not enough free time anywhere), poor tactical planning, not thought through day-schedule, poor guiding. A few more details. By "rushed" I mean that we had too little time at any of our stops. And if you have 1-1.5h free in a town to explore a new place, take a few photos, visit any attraction, have a lunch (find a free place, order, wait and eat) and use facilities with a group of 50 -- it's not easy even if you are quick. By "poor tactical planning" I mean work around spontaneous issues, like weather, traffic conditions, holiday hours, etc. we could have tried to go through indoor-activities first on the foggy morning. We could have changed the route on Christmas day to visit some other place, that is not fully closed. We could have stopped for a dinner somewhere on the way, instead of arriving at hotel with everything closed. Probably not everything is possible, but it didn't feel like an attempt was considered. By "poor guiding" I mean almost lack of actual guiding. I can't describe a 10 min walk from bus to town central square as such. Some facts told on the bus while we were on the way were dry, and at least some of them were not true (the ones I know about). A few of the places I've visited previously and comparing this "tour" to local guided tours I had is not even a comparison: the amount of info is dozen times less, if not even more. We had a long walk with local guide in Prague (guide was non-engaging) and a 30min bus drive in Ams. It's probably all that I cant describe as guided parts. It's not that I fully regret going, but the tour does not feel thought through. I would have get a lot more (both time and guidance) just travelling by train and going with local walking tours. Maybe I would not stop at all place that we've visited, but quality is not equal to quantity. I'm comparing my experience also to a different group bus tour, that also had unforeseen issues but dealt with them hell of a lot better.Show more

I been a tour guide and travelled to some countries but I can say he is the best tour guide Ive ever experienced. I want to commend the way he handles himself and the needs of the passengers.
