You'll be picked up and taken to your hotel where you can settle in and get comfortable. Take some time this afternoon to check the hotel's reception boards for information about when your tour officially starts tomorrow.

- Day 2
Lisbon
A guided tour takes you through Lisbon's seven hills, winding alleys, and the characteristic azulejo tiles that cover buildings throughout the city. You'll head to Belem where the Portuguese navigators once departed for their voyages. Later, you have free time to wander through Bairro Alto and climb up to its viewpoint. From there, head back to your hotel via Restauradores Square, which is lively with bars and shops.

- Day 3

Leave early from Lisbon and travel through the Alentejo region. Stop in Estremoz for coffee and a walk around its medieval castle and cobblestone streets. Continue to Caceres for lunch and time to explore the well-preserved medieval and Renaissance center. Later you'll drive to Madrid, arriving in the evening with a transfer to Plaza Mayor.

Madrid
