Itinerary
- Day 1
Darwin to Kakadu National Park
Start with a Jumping Crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River where you'll get close-up views of prehistoric crocodiles. After that, head into Kakadu National Park and grab lunch while you're there. From there, check out the Marrawuddi Art Gallery, then spend the rest of the afternoon at Ubirr climbing through ancient Aboriginal rock art galleries. You'll end the day with wetland views from the top.

- Day 2
Kakadu National Park to Katherine
If you want, there's an optional scenic flight early this morning (costs extra). Walk through Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock Art Site with your Driver Guide to see different types of Aboriginal rock paintings from the Bininj people's spiritual traditions. Next, visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre to learn how the traditional custodians lived. Later, take a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong, Kakadu's main wetland spot, where you'll spot saltwater crocodiles and colorful birds. Head to Katherine in the afternoon.

- Day 3
Katherine Gorge to Darwin
Begin early with a Breakfast cruise on Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, where thirteen gorges cut through billion-year-old sandstone. During the cruise, watch for freshwater crocodiles and birdlife as you travel down the Katherine River. After that, stop at the Nitmiluk Visitor Center where the Jawoyn people sell handmade souvenirs and artifacts. Make a quick stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetery before heading back to Darwin.
