The border crossing into Namibia is typically done via the Kazungula border post (Botswana–Namibia). In terms of visas, while some nationalities may be eligible for visa on arrival, we strongly recommend securing the visa in advance where possible. This helps avoid any delays or issues at the border, as entry requirements can sometimes vary. That said, visas on arrival are available at approved border posts (including Kazungula), but final entry is always at the discretion of immigration authorities.

Where would be the nearest airport to fly into for this tour and would the tour guide pick me up from the airport? I am a solo traveler and a bit nervous about travelling Africa alone. Is this a well-respected tour, do you often get solo guests and are they always safe? Are tents provided? Will the tour end at an airport so I can fly to my next destination?

The best arrival airport would be Victoria Falls (VFA) airport. An arrival transfer is not included in the tour price but can be added for an additional cost. Most of our travelers are solo female travelers and we take safety very seriously. You will have a tour guide with you at all times and there is a team on the ground monitoring safety. All camping equipment (with the exception of your sleeping bag and pillow) is supplied. We supply dome tents and assembly/disassembly takes only 5 minutes. All tents have built-in insect nets. Mattresses are also available, which are approximately 4cm thick, warm and comfortable. The tour ends at a hotel in Windhoek, so you will need to book a transfer to the airport.

Do offer this tour in March 25 and/or other direction from windhoek to Victoria Falls? Also accommodated and up to 15 days.

I think it was a great option to start the tour at Victoria Falls and finish in Namibia as this way we had the Okavango Delta excursion at the end. Few days leading to this excursion I was super frustrated and also disappointed. Yes, we could pay extra for activities, like river safari and game drive but there were days with nothing to do, nothing to choose from and nothing included in the tour. Or, there were things actually included but we didn't do it! Some days all we did was to wake up early, had breakfast, packed up everything, hit the road and rushed to the next place just to get there and do nothing. Literally nothing. At one place we were told there was a pool, go and enjoy. Really? If I want to sit in a pool, I just stay where I live, I don't need to cross the world for that. What I wanted was to see Africa, how people live, where they live, what they do, and to see that more than looking at them through the bus for like 2 seconds (well, they call it Lando but technically it is a bus). Anyhow. The activities we could pay extra were great. I also wanted to see some African animals, and even though I didn't see everything I wanted, I saw quite a lot during the game drive at Chobe NP. These activities as I mentioned were great but there were days with nothing to chose from or even if it was, it would have cost you a fortune, like the helicopter tour above the Okavango. Having mention the Okavango. The excursion there was great, the absolute highlight of the tour (apart from Victoria Falls but that was also something you had to do on your own). For this excursion only, I gave the 4 stars. I was really thinking of giving just 3 but considering everything, it was an amazing few days thanks to the people I became friends with during the tour. Also, Jerry, our driver, was safe and effective, took as from one place to another with no issue. I just wish we hadn't been rushed all the time!Show more

  Can you please advise me if Kazungula is a town in Zambia, crossing point to Botswana? Also, it seems like the distance from Kazungula to Windhoek is 14-hour drive. Am I mistaken or crossing the Namibian border is not scheduled on day 8?
