Prague
You're arriving in Prague, a city that's kept much of its medieval character over the past thousand years. The Vltava River splits the city, with the historic Old Town on one side and the New Town on the other, giving you a real sense of how the city's grown over time.

Prague
A local guide takes you through the Old Town's narrow cobblestone streets lined with medieval buildings and intricate statues. You'll see the Old Town Hall and the famous 14th-century Astronomical Clock, where the 12 Apostles make their appearance each hour. After the tour wraps up, the rest of the day is yours to wander around and soak in the atmosphere at your own pace.

- Day 3
Prague
This morning you have flexibility to explore Prague however you'd like, whether that's crossing the Charles Bridge early before it gets crowded or grabbing a coffee at a local café in the Old Town. In the afternoon, you'll choose one of three options: a brewery visit learning about Communist-era history while tasting local beers, a look at Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, or the Terezin Memorial to learn about WWII history.

Prague to Budapest
After leaving Prague by coach, you'll head to Budapest where your Scenic cruise ship is waiting. Once you get settled on board, you can start getting comfortable with the ship and exploring what it has to offer before you set off along the Danube.

Budapest
Budapest sits on both sides of the Danube with Buda and Pest connected by bridges since 1873. The city's dressed up for Christmas with twinkling lights and festive markets. You'll pick one of three activities: a coach tour of both districts with stops at Varkert Bazar and Christmas markets, a visit to Fisherman's Bastion and the Hospital in the Rock bunker, or a guided hike through Buda. Your ship departs for Vienna after lunch.

Danube River to Vienna
The day's spent cruising the Danube with Vienna coming into view late in the afternoon. Tonight there's a special Enrich experience: a private classical concert at Palais Liechtenstein with performances of Strauss and Mozart, including ballet dancers and vocalists performing in Vienna's largest secular Baroque hall.

Vienna
Vienna's transformed with Christmas decorations and lights all along the Ringstrasse, the city's most beautiful boulevard. Classical music seems to be playing everywhere you turn. Choose from four options: explore Schönbrunn Palace with its ornate rooms and gardens, take a guided e-bike tour to Danube Island, do a walking tour of central Vienna with expert insights, or take a coach trip to Bratislava to see the medieval old town, hilltop castle, and main square.

It's Christmas Day and you'll celebrate with fellow passengers aboard the ship as you cruise toward Passau. The scenery along the way shows charming villages and dramatic landscapes. Spend time in the Salt Therapy Lounge if you want to relax, or head up to the Sun Deck for fresh air and views.

Brandstatt to Salzburg or Cesky Krumlov
Disembarking in Brandstatt, you'll choose between two full-day trips. Either visit Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace surrounded by alpine peaks, with a guided tour and local lunch plus free time to explore. Or head to Cesky Krumlov, a medieval World Heritage town with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture sitting on the Vltava River, also including a guided tour, local lunch, and leisure time.

Nuremberg
You arrive in Nuremberg after lunch. The old town's surrounded by ancient walls and overlooked by a 12th-century Imperial Castle. The city's WWII history is significant, from Nazi rallies to the Nuremberg Trials. Pick one of two activities: a walking tour of the old town focusing on the castle and market square, or a WWII tour visiting the Rally Grounds and the Memorium Nuremberg Trials. Later the ship heads toward Bamberg.

Bamberg spreads across seven hills and is a World Heritage site with rivers and canals cutting through the old town. Cobblestoned streets wind past medieval buildings, and you'll see the Old Town Hall sitting on its own island, the cathedral with Gothic and Romanesque elements, and various residences including what locals call 'Little Venice' and a 12th-century castle on the highest hill. A guided city tour is followed by time to relax on board.

Würzburg
After a relaxed morning on the ship, you arrive in Würzburg, a Baroque city on the Main River in the middle of Franconia's wine region. The World Heritage palace, a hilltop fortress, the 15th-century Old Main Bridge, and three universities all define the city. You'll pick between a guided city tour with time at the historic market square and local wine or Glühwein, or a coach trip along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, an old medieval trading route, to explore the old town and its famous tavern.

Main River to Frankfurt
Today's relaxed as the ship cruises the Main River toward Frankfurt, arriving late this evening. For New Year's Eve, you can either head into Frankfurt to celebrate in the city or stay on board where the Cruise Director and Enrichment Manager have organized a party to ring in the new year with other guests.

Rüdesheim
Rüdesheim's a charming town surrounded by steep vineyards that have produced wine for two thousand years. Half-timbered houses line the cobbled streets with shops selling cuckoo clocks and wine taverns. A mini train takes you from the pier to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum with 350 instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries. This afternoon, relax on the Sun Deck while the ship moves through the Rhine Gorge, a 65-kilometre stretch with 40 hilltop castles dating back a thousand years.
