Nice
You'll arrive in Nice on the French Riviera and transfer to your Emerald Cruises yacht. Get settled onboard as you prepare for your Western Mediterranean voyage. The ship docks at 11 PM, so you'll have the evening to familiarize yourself with the vessel before departure.

Monaco
The yacht pulls into Monaco, where you can wander through Monte Carlo and check out the museums and cultural spots around this city-state. If you're interested, there are optional excursions heading to Eze and Cap Ferrat or to Saint-Paul de Vence and Grasse. The mix of high-end shops, casinos, and yacht-lined harbors gives you plenty to see.

Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino
Stop at Santa Margherita Ligure first, an Italian resort town where you can walk along the promenade and see the Baroque church. Grab some fresh seafood while you're here. Later you'll sail to Portofino on the Italian Riviera, where narrow streets and pastel-colored houses line the harbor. Optional hiking and food experiences are available if you want to dig deeper.

Porto Venere
You'll explore Porto Venere, a UNESCO site on Italy's Ligurian coast with real historical significance. The medieval village sits around the gothic Church of St. Peter perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the water. If you're up for it, there's an optional private boat trip to Cinque Terre available.

Marina di Carrara
The ship arrives at Marina di Carrara early, staying docked from 08:00 to 22:00. This seaside village sits along the Tuscan coast, known for the marble quarries in the surrounding mountains. The marble here is the same stone Michelangelo used for his famous sculptures. You'll see the contrast between the white marble peaks and the Mediterranean water, which makes for quite a striking view. Spending the day wandering around gives you time to check out both the coastal area and explore what makes this place significant from an artistic and geological standpoint.

Livorno
After leaving Carrara, the ship docks in Livorno from 08:00 until 20:00. This port city is a major hub along the Tuscan coast, and the waterfront has modern facilities mixed with older harbor character. The local food scene centers on fresh seafood, especially cacciucco, which is a traditional fish stew that's popular here. You can walk the seaport area, check out the Mediterranean views from different points along the water, and grab lunch at one of the restaurants serving the local catch.

Calvi
Arrive in Calvi on Corsica, which has a crescent-shaped bay with white sand backed by maritime pines. The town has grown into Corsica's cultural hub and hosts music festivals during summer. A village tour is available if you want a guided look around the area.

After breakfast you'll leave the yacht to spend the day in Rome, where you can see ancient history and explore the city at your own pace. By afternoon you'll return to board the yacht again as you head into the second half of your journey through the Mediterranean.

Amalfi Coast to Capri
The yacht cruises the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO site known for its beaches and seaside towns with Italian villas and beach clubs carved into cliffs. You'll stay overnight in Capri. An optional excursion to Amalfi and Ravello is on offer if you want to see more of the coast.

Capri to Sorrento
You'll spend the day on Capri, exploring this Italian island at your own pace. Start by wandering through the charming streets and stopping for lunch, trying the local Caprese salad if you're hungry. The Blue Grotto is the main draw here, and you can reach it by optional boat tour, which gives you that famous view of the sea cave with its blue-tinted waters. If you prefer staying on land, walking around town offers plenty of clifftop views and photo opportunities. Later in the afternoon, consider a cabriolet ride to see more of the island's coastal areas. Before heading back to the ship, grab a Limoncello to take with you or enjoy one at a café. The evening brings you to Sorrento for an overnight stay, so you'll have time to settle in and explore the town if you want.

Sorrento
You'll spend time in Sorrento, a resort town sitting high on cliffs above the Bay of Naples with views of Mount Vesuvius. The town has elegant villas, good restaurants, and lemon groves that produce limoncello. An evening Tarantella performance is included, giving you a taste of local culture and music.

Porto Cervo
You'll spend the day in Porto Cervo, Sardinia's upscale coastal spot with its luxury marina, high-end boutiques, and restaurants lining the waterfront. If you want to do more, there's an optional panoramic tour that takes you from Porto Cervo over to Palau, and then you'll hop on a public ferry heading to La Maddalena Island. Along the way, the tour stops at scenic viewpoints and includes time in the town center before bringing you back to the ship by evening.

Bonifacio
Bonifacio on Corsica gives you options depending on what you're after. You can join the included guided tour led by someone who knows the area well and sample local foods and wines during the walk. The medieval citadel sits dramatically on limestone cliffs, so you'll see those views no matter which path you choose. If hiking appeals to you more, head out to Capo Pertusato instead, where the dramatic coastline and panoramic landscape unfold as you walk. Either way, you're looking at a full day on the island since the ship stays docked. Later, if you want something different, there's an optional boat trip that takes you to see sea caves and other coastal landmarks from the water. End the day exploring more of the old town or sitting somewhere with a view before returning to the ship for dinner.

Your yacht returns to Civitavecchia, an ancient seaport dating back to the 2nd century AD. Your cruise concludes here and you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight home or to continue traveling elsewhere.
