Itinerary
- Day 1
Sossusvlei
After breakfast, you'll drive through dry riverbeds and gravel plains to reach NamibRand Nature Reserve for an afternoon nature tour. Day 3 means heading out early to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei to see the high sand dunes (up to 320 meters) in the oldest desert. On day 4, you'll experience a hot air balloon ride at sunrise over the dunes.

- Days 5 - 6
Walvis Bay Catamaran Cruise
Your guide takes you to Walvis Bay where you'll board a catamaran cruise to see seabirds, fur seals, and dolphins. During the cruise you'll have oysters, canapés and South African sparkling wine (non-alcoholic options are there too). You'll be back in Swakopmund by afternoon with free time to spend however you like.

Twyfelfontein
You'll drive north along the coast through vast plains into Damaraland, passing through the mining town of Uis and seeing the impressive Brandberg Massif, Namibia's highest peak. After settling at Onduli Ridge Lodge, the next morning includes a guided hike at Twyfelfontein (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) where you'll see Africa's largest collection of rock engravings from 6,000 years ago and learn local myths from your guide.

- Day 9
Etosha National Park Game Drive
On a guided game drive in an open off-road vehicle through Etosha National Park, you'll look for zebra, elephant, giraffe, blue wildebeest, oryx, springbok, kudu and the black-nosed impala. Early morning and late evening give you the best chance to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals. The park is also great for bird watching with hundreds of species documented here.

- Days 10 - 11
Etosha National Park
You'll cross through Etosha National Park heading east with your guide, stopping at different waterholes to watch animals. The eastern section has varied vegetation and each waterhole offers something different to observe. Early morning and late evening are your best times for game viewing when it's cooler and animals are more active.

Etosha to Okonjima
After breakfast, you'll drive south to Okonjima, which is home to the AfriCat Foundation (the name means 'place of baboons' in Herero). You'll stay in a Bush Suite and do activities focused on leopard and cheetah spotting, plus a Bushman walk. You'll get to see AfriCat Foundation rangers doing their conservation work and learn about big cat behavior with good photo chances.

Okonjima to Windhoek
Following breakfast, you'll drive back to Windhoek heading south. On the way, there's an option to stop in Okahandja to visit the large timber markets where you can look for gifts. Your guide will make sure you get to the international airport in time for your flight home.
