  Can you please provide a break down of exactly what entrance fees will be collected upon arrival. per entrance. Also please provide details of any further tips required.

    $165 per person, including the following sites
    
    The Museum and the Pyramid, Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, Deir el-Bahari and the Valley of the Kings, and the temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae.
    
    Gratuities USD 70 per person, covering tips for drivers and boat crew throughout the trip and that's good for tour groups to not tip in the daily basis, Payment is made at the Welcome Meeting
    
    Tips for tour guides are not included and may be given at your discretion.
    
    Anything else you wish to give to anyone is entirely up to you it is a gesture of appreciation at your own discretion, and you are under no obligation to do so.

    Do we fly to Abu Simbel or is there an early morning depart and long bus trip each way?
    Do we get back in time to see Kom Ombo and Lake Nasser?
    What time does the tour leave in the morning please.

    Can you please advise where the accommodation is on night six after we fly from Luxor to Cairo. the itinerary states, Berth/Cabin, but that cannot be correct. Do we stay in the same Hotel we do the first two nights?

    The Abu Simbel optional tour is operated by road, not by air. Departure is usually very early in the morning, at approximately 4:00 AM, and the journey takes around three to four hours each way. The entrance ticket to Abu Simbel is included in the optional-tour price.
    
    The tour is scheduled around the Nile cruise itinerary, so you will return in time to continue with the planned programme. Please note that Kom Ombo is visited separately according to the cruise schedule.
    
    After flying from Luxor to Cairo on Night 6, you will stay in a Cairo hotel, not in a berth or cabin. The hotel name and final accommodation details will be confirmed closer to departure. The "berth/cabin" wording is a system error.
    
    The sightseeing entrance fees are approximately USD 165 per person, excluding optional tours. A detailed site-by-site breakdown may vary because entrance-ticket prices are set by the Egyptian authorities and may change before your travel date. Tipping is also not included and will be explained by our representative upon arrival.

    There are many comments in your reviews related to tipping where clients still do not understand where the us $60 collected is distributed and that tipping is still requested throughout the tour. Therefore i would like the tipping explained before i decide to book or not. As the us dollar is expensive for us Australians and all the extra costs add up. So please explain the tipping and how much is collected before the tour and who it hoes to.

    We have no involvement with any additional gratuities they might request.
    
    You can make payments at the welcome meeting, but this does not include tips for the guides, any extra gratuities you choose to give them are purely voluntary an expression of appreciation for their assistance, nothing more.

  I'm travelling with my husband and mom, and looking for 2 separate rooms - one for me and my husband and one for my mom. I wanted to clarify the amount for entrance fees (excluding optional) + for tips please? I was reading reviews and quite a few has mentioned prepaid ripset, but then having to pay tips later on as well. I also noticed the tour will take you to promotional stops like perfume stops, are these possible to avoid?

    Yes, we can arrange 2 separate rooms: one double/twin room for you and your husband, and one single room for your mother. Please note that a single room supplement may apply.
    
    The entrance fees, excluding optional tours, are approximately USD 145 per person and are usually paid on-site. Tips are not mandatory and remain at your discretion. If any prepaid tipping option is offered, it is optional and does not mean you are required to pay tips again.
    
    Regarding shopping or promotional stops, we completely understand your preference. We can inform the guide to avoid these stops and focus only on the sightseeing program to make the trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible for your mother.

  What time (approx) is the flight to Cairo from Luxor on Aug 2? Can we extend Luxor for one night (add hotel for that night) and return to Cairo on Aug 3, if needed?

    Many of the entrance fees on the tour are not included (as I read the description). How will those costs be collected (at each site? all at once in advance?)? Will there be a different guide at each location?

    What time does the boat generally arrive in Luxor on that leg? I'm still interested in extending a day in Luxor to see sights we may miss due to the eclipse.

    For the Nile cruise leg from Edfu to Luxor, the boat usually arrives in Luxor in the afternoon or evening, but the exact timing depends on the cruise schedule and sailing conditions.

    Yes, we can arrange airport pickup at 3:00 AM. As this is before normal check-in time, pre-tour accommodation for the previous night is required.

    The package includes one free transfer on the first day of the tour from Cairo international airport to our hotel and one free transfer from our hotel to Cairo international airport on the last day of the tour. Any other transfer (Pick up/drop off) will cost you 35 USD.

    The GEM stands for the New Grand Egyptian Museum.
    
    The cruise is a 5 Star Standard Nile cruise (Full-Board Meals Included). All cabins have a private bathroom, air-conditioned and have a large panoramic ultra violet window. There are on the cruise a swimming pool, Gymnasium, Laundry service, Bar, SPA and restaurant.
    The Nile cruise will be M/S Reinassance or similar.

    The extra night will cost you 150 USD per 1 night in a double room and check in starts at 13:00. So if you arrive on Apr 18th you will need 2 extra nights (300 USD).
