Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades Valley
Your guide picks you up from your riad in Marrakech and heads out to the Atlas Mountains, where you'll stop for photos among the agricultural terraces and Berber villages scattered across the slopes. The drive takes you through some nice countryside before lunch in Ouarzazate. From there, you continue to Skoura Oasis to see the historic Amridil Kasbah with its traditional architecture and courtyards. By evening, you'll reach Dades Valley after passing through the Roses Valley on the way down.

Dades Valley to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll hike through the valley toward a canyon for about 2 hours, getting views of the landscape as you go. Next, you check out Tinghir Oasis where there are abandoned Kasbahs and Ksars sitting among the greenery and palmery. Then it's a drive to Merzouga so you can see the high sand dunes of the region. By evening, you're settled into your glamping tent or desert guesthouse.

- Day 3
Merzouga
You can pick what you want to do this morning, whether that's a local market, a hike, or some off-road driving. After lunch with Berber pizza, you head out on a camel safari into the Sahara to watch the sunset spread across the dunes. The night includes staying at the desert camp where there's local music by the campfire and time to stargaze once it gets dark.

- Day 4
Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the desert, then try sandboarding in the morning light. You can either take a camel ride back to Merzouga or go for a one-hour quad biking trip through the sand dunes if you want something more thrilling. Later, the drive takes you to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley and Anti Atlas Mountains. You'll stay overnight at a riad in Ouarzazate.

- Day 5
Ouarzazate to Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll have time to explore the Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate on your own. Then you drive to Ait Benhaddou for a horseback ride through the rocky desert landscape and the historic Ksar streets where there are local artisanal shops and bazaars. By mid-day, you're heading back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages as you make your way back.
