Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Luxor
Early morning pickup from your Cairo or Giza hotel gets you to the airport for a flight to Luxor, where your private Egyptologist guide will be waiting. Once there, you'll spend the day on the West Bank checking out the royal tombs at Valley of the Kings, then head to Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and see the towering Colossi of Memnon. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you'll cross to the East Bank to walk through the massive Karnak Temple Complex and the elegant Luxor Temple, where you can see the famous standing obelisk. An evening flight brings you back to Cairo with a transfer to your hotel.
