Itinerary
- Day 1
Aswan to Kom Ombo
Your guide meets you at Aswan Airport, the railway station, or your hotel to kick things off. You'll head to the High Dam first, then take a motorboat out to Philae Temple, which was built for the goddess Isis. After that, you'll check into your 5-star Nile cruise and have lunch on board. Around 2 or 3 pm, the boat sails to Kom Ombo so you can see the dual temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. You'll return to the cruise for dinner, and then continue sailing toward Edfu where you'll spend the night.

- Day 2
Edfu to Luxor
Start with breakfast, then take a horse carriage ride with your guide to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Back on the cruise, you can relax on deck as the boat sails to Luxor and you take in the Nile scenery. You'll pass through the Esna Lock with lunch and afternoon tea served on the sundeck. Late afternoon brings you to Luxor dock, where you'll visit Luxor Temple on the East Bank. This temple features ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic design elements. Dinner on board includes a belly dancing show, and you'll stay overnight in Luxor.

- Day 3
Luxor West Bank and Departure
After breakfast and checkout, you'll drive to Luxor's West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs carved their tombs into the mountains. Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari to learn about her story. You'll stop for photos in front of the massive Colossi of Memnon statues. Then head back to the East Bank to walk through Karnak Temple, the largest temple ever constructed, spanning about 63 acres and built over 2,000 years. Spend time taking photos among the towering pillars and obelisks before transferring to your hotel, airport, or railway station.
