We are very active but somewhat older, ages 77 and 76 by the time of our next tour. We can walk for miles, and we do Pilates. Would we be accepted for this tour?

Yes — there is free time in almost every destination for travelers to explore on their own. Throughout the itinerary, each city includes: Evenings free to explore or relax independently. Afternoons free on several days (Prague, Munich, Budapest, Vienna). Optional activities, which you can choose to join or skip. So you are not required to stay with the group outside of the included tours. Meals: This tour includes breakfast only. There are no compulsory group dinners. You can eat anywhere you like. Optional group dinners are available but completely optional. If a hotel is slightly outside the center, public transport or taxis are easily available, and many hotels still have restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Some hotels may be located a short distance from the historic center, which is common on multi-city tours. However: Hotels are all 4-star, in convenient, safe locations. You will still have the freedom to go out, explore, and dine wherever you prefer.

Are my grandmother and I eligible for this trip? She is 76 years old.

Your grandmother is absolutely welcome to join the tour. Guests aged 76 can participate as long as they are travelling with a companion who will be with them throughout the trip, and provided she is comfortable with the itinerary and daily activities.

All the hotels accommodation were 4 star with fabulous breakfasts, EXCEPT the locations other than Budapest and Vienna were very far from the city centres. The bus driver and bus were good, probably my only improvement would be the bus windows need to be cleaned daily. The guides were generally professional, but at times difficult to hear. An improvement i would suggest would be to have receivers and head phones. One other very annoying thing was Travel Talks administrative people to equally share tge single room amongst the 3 solo share singles. I had to complain and the Group tour guide remedied that blunder. Likewise I would never share again, as one of the solos had a bad cough for the whole trip and shared it with me, I was not a happy camper as I had not had a cold, cough, flu or covid-19 in the last 2 decades and had had open heart surgery just under 2 years ago. I demanded the solo room on the last 2 nights, throat gargled with scotch, took Amoxil tablets, antibiotic lozenges and kicked in 2.5 days. Oh! I am 69 and the other disease spreading passenger maybe 50ish, coughed with out covering his mouth with a hanky or tissues or even his hand. Totally unsatisfactory on a group tour.Show more
