The tour company Choose Balkans was always responsive throughout the booking process and during the tour. Sirma was our main contact and she was delightful to deal with. Our tour guide, Eraldo, was fantastic. He was easy to get along with, informative, honest, and a man with a lot of integrity. We were always well looked after, and you know you will be in safe hands if he was your tour guide. The only downside was, we upgraded to 4-star hotels, but one hotel in capital city was 3-star at best and had moulds and was dirty, so Sirma moved us to a proper 4-star hotel for the next night. The final night stay at Mostar was a 3-star property - they did not even service our room properly and left the bathroom floor wet, shower drain full of hair, and bedroom carpet just generally dirty with the bottom of our indoor slippers going black. Also at Ohird, the hotel there was also only 3-star. At The Adler Hotel, Prizren, that was also 3-star, it was so poorly maintained that the hairdryer was hanging off the wall by the live wire over the sink, the floor skirting board was dislodged from the wall with nails exposed, they did not service our room and blamed us for not giving them permission to enter the room, but another fellow traveller got her room serviced, without permission given! I would recommend the tour and our excellent tour guide, Eraldo, but the hotel upgrade to 4-star by Choose Balkans need more improvements.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Choose Balkans. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 67 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Choose Balkans will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
