Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Your guide meets you at the airport to help with visa procedures and give you a quick introduction to Cairo. A private air-conditioned car takes you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free, so you can rest and get settled after traveling.

- Day 2
Giza Pyramids and Saqqara Necropolis
After breakfast, you'll head to the Giza plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the Sphinx. You have time to go inside the pyramids if you want. Then grab lunch before driving to Saqqara to check out King Djoser's funerary complex and the Step Pyramid, which was Egypt's first stone pyramid.

Cairo Old City, Museum, and Coptic Cairo
Following breakfast, you'll start exploring historic Cairo at the Egyptian Museum where you can see Tutankhamun's treasure, mummies, and ancient sculptures. Later, you'll walk through the UNESCO-listed Old City and tour the Citadel of Saladin. The Khan El-Khalili bazaar comes next for shopping and browsing. The Coptic neighborhood rounds out the afternoon with visits to the Hanging Church, Church of San Sergio, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. An optional Nile dinner cruise with entertainment is available in the evening if you're interested.

Suez Canal and Saint Catherine
This morning you'll leave early after breakfast, heading toward the Suez Canal and passing through the Ahmed Hamdi tunnel and Mitla Pass. Along the way, you'll visit Ayun Musa (Bath of Moses). From there, it's on to Saint Catherine where you'll have dinner and stay overnight.

Mount Sinai and Monastery of Saint Catherine
Before sunrise, you'll climb Mount Sinai (2,285m/7,497 ft) to reach the summit for the sunrise and see where Moses is believed to have received the Ten Commandments. From the top, Mount Saint Catherine (2,637m/8,652 ft) is visible as the peninsula's highest peak. After coming down, you'll visit the historic Monastery of Saint Catherine sitting at 1,570m/5,151 ft, which has impressive walls and an ancient library. Following breakfast, you'll depart for the border to exit Egypt.
