Itinerary
- Day 1
Blue Lake Campsite
Your guide picks you up at 5:00 AM from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. Stop at Calca's local market to grab coca leaves and bread as gifts for families you'll meet. After that, you'll relax in the warm volcanic pools at Lares Hot Springs before driving to Punta Carretera to start hiking. The trail takes you through Andean landscapes to Kiswarani Village where lunch is a 3-course meal. From there, continue hiking for about 2 more hours to reach Blue Lake Campsite at 3,800m. Once you settle into your glamping tent, you can enjoy a hot shower and optional massage, then dinner under the stars.

- Day 2
Blue Lake to Cancha Cancha Village
Start the morning with fresh coffee or coca tea at your tent while porters pack up gear. Breakfast happens with views of the lake and mountains spreading out in front of you. Then you'll hike for approximately 4 hours, climbing gently around the lake to Condor Pass at 4,700m. Along the way, watch for mountain birds, llamas, and alpacas. At the summit, an Andean Shaman leads a Pachamama ceremony. After snacks and drinks, descend for about 2 hours to Acopata for lunch. It's another 1 hour to Cancha Cancha Village campsite where you'll visit the local school and meet community members. Shower, take an optional massage if you'd like, then settle into your glamping tent for the night.

Cancha Cancha Village to Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
Begin by visiting a local home to see how Andean families actually live and work. You'll participate in traditional potato farming using ancestral tools and practice speaking Quechua. After breakfast, start a 4-hour descent toward the Sacred Valley passing through potato and bean fields at higher elevations, then corn, quinoa, and avocado farms as you drop down to Huaran at 2,700m. Your final picnic lunch is prepared by the trekking chefs. Say goodbye to your chef, porters, and arrieros, then ride a private van to Ollantaytambo where you have time to walk around the historic town and grab dinner at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, board the Expedition Train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), check into your 4-star hotel, and rest for tomorrow.

- Day 4
Machu Picchu
Have breakfast at your hotel, then catch the bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel. A 3-hour private guided tour highlights the main temples, terraces, and plazas. After the tour, you get free time to explore on your own or tackle extra hikes to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (tickets need to be purchased ahead). Break for lunch at the Belmond Hotel next to Machu Picchu, eating with your guide. Later, ride the bus down to Aguas Calientes and browse local shops before boarding the Vistadome Panoramic Train to Ollantaytambo. Your team meets you there for a private van transfer back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 7:00 PM.
