Please find below the breakdown of the 7 days tours (as with the 6 days, you will finish in Exmouth and not Perth).

Day 1 : Perth to KalbarriFree-spirited we cruise up the Coral Coast, where ironically it feels like our adventure begins in the desert. Stop at Nambung National Park for a guided tour of The Pinnacles, where ancient limestone spires, jut spookily out of the desert. Carved out by the Murchison River and lined with red river gums, the towering cliffs are striped with a blood-red hue and contrast spectacularly with the azure hidden waterholes. Best vantage points are from Natures Window and Z-Bend lookouts or for the ultimate rush there's the option of abseiling down. Toast the day in Denham, the gateway to Shark BayAccommodation: Hostel (1 night) Monkey MiaThe total driving time today is about 5.5 hours and approximately 470km. The total walking distance is approximately 5km. Meal(s) included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

For those braver, choose to do a boat tour (additional cost) and swim beside turtles and manta rays or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef, only metres from the shore. Whale Shark season in Western Australia is generally from April – July and is an additional activity for our guests to enhance their experience and immerse themselves with nature.

We work very closely with Kings Ningaloo Reef Tours who offer a Whale Shark Snorkeling Adventure Tour for $575pp, ($300pp for an Observer) which is a very popular option for some of our guests!

Adventure Tours hold a limited number of seats for this optional activity, however for those that wish to book in advance to secure your spot, please call Kings directly and mention that you are travelling with Adventure Tours at the time of booking ? once your booking is paid and secured with the operator, please let our reservations team know as this will be taken from our overall allocations.

Please note, if you do not book in advance, you can speak to your guide on day one or organise this, however this does depend on availability with the operator.

    • Adventure Tours AustraliaOperatorWritten May 2025

This trip is unfortunately not suitable for children due to the hostel style of accommodation (the tour group share dormitory rooms) and also the fact that there is some considerable hiking involved of 5-9kms a day over uneven terrain, often in high temperatures. Some hikes may require sections of walking/swimming through water.
