You'll arrive in Berlin and head to your welcome meeting at 6 pm. If you get there earlier, there's plenty to see on foot around the city. Berlin to Wroclaw
After traveling to Wroclaw, you'll arrive early afternoon and get settled into your hotel. Your leader takes you on an orientation walk through this historic city on the River Oder. The rest of the day is yours to explore. You could head to Cathedral Island, wander through the Old Town Square, check out the Four Denominations District, or find a spot by the river for a picnic.

Wroclaw to Krakow
You'll board a train to Krakow for your two-night stay. Your leader walks you through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, pointing out medieval buildings, castles, churches, and the sprawling squares. Grab some zapiekanka along the way. Later, explore on your own and maybe visit Wawel Royal Castle on the hill, St Mary's Basilica with its Gothic altarpiece, or St Francis' Basilica.

Krakow
You have the day free to explore Krakow at your own pace. Walk the Royal Route, the historic path Polish monarchs once traveled, and you'll pass most of the Old Town's key sites like Florianska Gate and the Barbican. For dinner, your leader can take you to a traditional bar mleczny where there's no English menu, shared tables, and real Polish atmosphere.

Krakow to Prague
After breakfast, you head to the Czech Republic by bus to Ostrava, then catch a train to Prague. Once at your hotel, your leader gives you an orientation walk hitting Prague's top sites. Then you have free time to check out the Jewish Quarter with its historic synagogues, visit the Franz Kafka Museum, walk across Charles Bridge, or watch the Astronomical Clock do its thing.

If you're into jazz, the city has a solid music scene to explore.

Later, hunt down Bled's famous cream cake or join the group for an optional dinner of Slovenian specialties.

Bled
Bled is perfect for adventure and you decide how active to get on this free day. Hiking, biking, canoeing, and rafting are all options. Rent a bike to explore the surroundings, walk through Vintgar Gorge's natural canyon, or go rafting on the Soca River. If you prefer a slower pace, visit Bled Castle or take a pletna wooden boat to the island church to ring the wishing bell. You could also day trip to Bohinj, another lakeside town nearby.

Bled to Venice
You'll travel to Venice and the scenery on the way is worth the ride. Venice sits on over a hundred small islands connected by 400 bridges, and it's unlike anywhere else. Beyond the romantic canals, there's great food, performances, art, and architecture throughout. Explore on foot and take in the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge shops, Palazzo Ducale, Piazza San Marco with its golden basilica, and the Bridge of Sighs. Try tiramisu before you leave, the dish was invented here.

You have a free day to explore Venice however you want until the 6 pm welcome meeting for new group members. Window shop near Ponte di Rialto, browse the Libreria Acqua Alta bookshop, or take a gondola ride through the canals. At 6 pm, join the group for dinner at Orient Experience, a restaurant that supports Venice's migrant and refugee community with a menu inspired by their journeys to Europe.

Venice to Lake Garda
You'll leave Venice and head to Verona, the city behind the world's most famous love story. An orientation walk takes you through the city and into the courtyard where you can see Juliet's balcony. You'll also see Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheatre from AD30 and one of the best-preserved ancient structures, older than the Colosseum. Look for Sfogliatine di Villafranca, a crumbly puff pastry dessert. Later, catch the train to Lake Garda for dinner with the group at a lakeside restaurant.

Lake Garda

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage fortress to learn how Venice defended itself back in the 16th and 17th centuries. Tonight, watch the sunset with the group while sipping Aperol spritz or negroni.

Parma to La Spezia
You head to La Spezia, the gateway to Cinque Terre on the Mediterranean coast in northern Italy. This is a perfect day for beach time, soaking up sun, and eating seafood. You could day trip to Portovenere, the unofficial sixth town of Cinque Terre, on a peninsula surrounded by water. Walk to the 12th-century Doira Castle or visit Grotta di Lord Byron, a swimming cove that inspired the author. The Mediterranean coast is yours to experience however you want.

Cinque Terre

Ask your leader about Vatican City, where you can climb St Peter's Dome or visit the Vatican Museum and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. Tonight, find a good dinner spot to celebrate the trip's final days.
