From the moment we made the booking right up until departure, the service and communication was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for Emmy and the team. I was unhappy with the Aswan hotel I had booked myself and mentioned it in passing, within minutes the manager called and moved us to a much more suitable room with lovely views of the Nile and a complimentry fruit basket arrived! The guides, transfers and tours were excellent and the 3 night Nile cruise was wonderful. We had an upgrade to a better ship including a Royal Suite! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other travellers (and I'm a fussy travel agent!). Top marks to the whole team.Show more

The ship was excellent, staff professional, food good quality. The temple visits of Kom Ombo and Edna were a disaster. We visited Kom Ombo in the evening with thousands of other tourists and Edna very early morning with one hour queuing with even more tourists. Hence difficult to visit properly and people bumping into each other. This a lack of decent organisation. The guide Peter was ok but very little information was given with regards to the program.Show more

This is normal practice as all cruise ships have same itinerary and move around the same time. Everything very well organised ! Right at the railwaystation when we stepped out of the train there was our guide Peter with the driver just outside the station. He was very helpful and knows really everything about the places he took us. The latenin the afternoon trip to the Nubian island was amazing. The cruiseship was good with very helpfull and kind people who really want to service you at everything. In Luxor we met our guide Mohammed who was also very incredible in his knowledge about ancient Egypt. With his driver he tool us very comfortable across the highlights of the temples and the valley of kings. The hotel in Luxor also good.Show more

  Are you able to get either of these nile cruise boats - Ms Esplanade or Ms Solaris? The original company who quoted earlier this year was USD 700 for the MS Esplanade and USD $600 for the MS Esplanade. I liked them as they all had balcony cabins.
