The itinerary was not ideal and unnecessarily difficult. It didn't need to be the way it was planned or scheduled. Even with an upgrade to five star hotels, the accommodations were some of the worst…The itinerary was not ideal and unnecessarily difficult. It didn't need to be the way it was planned or scheduled. Even with an upgrade to five star hotels, the accommodations were some of the worst I have ever stayed at. Enough that I left and booked my own rooms at another hotel. The cruise was a deathtrap both from a hygiene and safety standpoint. You would not have been able to escape the ship in an emergency as the exits were blocked. We missed certain parts of the must-see attractions because of poor planning. This company charged some of the highest prices, but the worst value possible to maximize their profit. In fact, they didn't even get my return airport shuttle booked so I had to scramble to find transportation for my group. They did acknowledge the deficits, but no real solutions. A reputable company would make it right instead of giving excuses.

The trip was well organized and went off without hiccups, our main contact was Ahmed who was available 24/7 and did everything to ensure our trip went well and that we were satisfied. Aside from the regular itinerary Ahmed and our guides went out of their way to meet every request and desire we voiced. Our guide Howaida in Cairo was the most incredible human you'll ever meet, she is so welcoming, loving and knowledgeable, and quickly became known as "mama" to our group. The local people, food, culture, history, it was all just incredible and so hard to come home from. This trip will change your life and I can already not wait to return!

My experience of the sleeper train was unbelievably odious, starting with the 3rd world standard of the "VIP” waiting room at Giza station where we were made to spend 1 hour. The toilet was so disgust…My experience of the sleeper train was unbelievably odious, starting with the 3rd world standard of the "VIP” waiting room at Giza station where we were made to spend 1 hour. The toilet was so disgusting even the attendant didn't try to charge for use. Our cabin on the train was grim, the old ripped worn carpet only partly covering the floor, so the door kept catching when you open it., The sink still stank of urine from the previous occupiers use, the stained the bedding, the grime table trays on which our food was presented. Having said that other travellers on the boat had a different experience so it might depend on the coach you are in. Needless to say we paid the extra to fly back to Cairo.
What can I say, not one single woman employee on the entire experience, except of course for the scantily dressed belly dancer entertainer on the last night on the boat! I lost clothes left in the cabin, that took 2 days to find, by which time I was back in the UK!
The boat was okay but could have been cleaner (comes from having an entire crew of young men), the mattress was uncomfortable and lumpy, the food was very good, the staff were helpful.

He tries to rip of the tourist and is a very arrogant person. The food at the boat war alright but nothing special. Some people went sick because of the food and other didn’t. Just be careful. We did a tour to a Nubian village, is not worth the money for 35€ pP. If they will offer a price for 20€ pP I would do it again. The best thing was our tour guide Adale. He studied Egyptology and is a well respected and knowledgeable person. He is straight forward and knows what the tourists want to see and do. One morning we wanted to do a balloon ride but after tow hours of waiting somewhere and driving around randomly the guys decide to cancel the balloon ride because of strong winds. But the truth was just a bad organization. In that case another thank for our guide Adale who helped us to get the money back.

Our tour guide Ahmed Ramsey made the tour a brilliant experience for us. The boat was old but elegant, the staff very friendly and the food on board excellent. Luckily our brilliant guide sorted problems out as we went along. Overall it was an enjoyable trip.

Straight to the point: I can absolutely recommend this specific tour to anyone who is interested to grasp as much as possible of Egypt's treasures and culture within a 9-Day visit.
Organization and communication with either the tour guides or also organizers of the tour before and also during the trip was superb. Any question you had regarding the tour was solved immediately.
Nothing to add anymore as this was an absolutely inspiring and great experience.
