A great way to travel from Aswan to Luxor and see the Nile You only really get one day to see everything though as we left in the night and arrived early into Kom Ombo and the next night we were in Luxor sleeping on the boat before disembarking after breakfast

It was disappointing that drinking water was not readily available and complimentary. We had time to get off the cruise and buy some at regular prices but was that necessary? The tours were nice but you have very little time to explore on your own. The vendors and carriages to and from the sites are relentless even when tipped. Towards the end they hand you an envelope with your room number and track how much you’re tipping into their pool. Our tour guide wanted to sell us several additional tours but once he found out we’d look into exploring on our own stopped responding to our inquiries or being helpful. I didn’t really feel seen as a guest but more as a dollar, euro or pound sign.

The scheduling of temple visits was not good. Edfu visit with wake up time at 5am pointless and unnecessary: super crowded and completely empty once we left. Also did not like drinking water not included and overpriced. Staff and food were good which is why I gave 3 stars.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
