Dendera and Abydos are not typically included in standard tour packages. They would require an add day trip from Luxor and would be an additional cost. Our standard tours to the Giza Plateau include the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. The Bent Pyramid, Red Pyramid, and Step Pyramid are located in Dahshur and Saqqara, which are separate sites. We can arrange an add-on excursion to these locations at an additional cost.

Asked on June 10th, 2025I would really like to visit the Coptic Quarter and all the Coptic churches. The one I specifally mentioned was the one in Cairo that is built into the side of a "mountain". I would like more information about the Nile Cruise that would be different from the one I had. Do all cruises go from Aswan to Luxor or the opposite way? What is your hotel recommendation in Cairo? I would like to be in the city center (if there is one!) OR I would consider staying in Giza again. I understand about the driver and guide. Can you give me an estimate of the cost of this trip? My dates have changed from February 2026 to September or October this year. Please recommend the number of days you think would be good. I am flexible with dates and the number of days. You should know that I am 74 years old. I don't believe I would have any problems with this kind of trip. I would like the pace to be slower than a regular tour though with maybe a day of rest now and then.
