Nairobi
You'll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where someone from the tour company meets you and drives you to your hotel. Before checking in, your tour operator walks through what's coming up and introduces your driver guide who'll be with you the whole trip.

Nairobi to Amboseli
After breakfast, you head to Amboseli National Park, known for its huge elephant herds and views of Mt. Kilimanjaro across the border. Lunch happens at the lodge, then you go out for an afternoon game drive to start spotting wildlife.

Amboseli
You spend the full day in Amboseli with two game drives across the lake bed looking for cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, gazelles and elephant families with Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. There's an optional Masai village visit if you want to pay a small fee.

Landmarks Amboseli National Park Mount Kilimanjaro - Day 4
Amboseli to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you drive toward Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake in the Great Rift Valley. You'll go through customs at Namanga border and grab lunch at Arusha Kibo Palace before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the park, where tree-climbing lions hang out in the branches.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro
You take the morning relaxing at your lodge, then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its rolling plains, lakes, craters and mountains. After lunch here, you can rest or check out a cultural village if interested.

Ngorongoro Crater
Today you head down into the Ngorongoro Crater to see grasslands, swamps, forests and saltpans. You'll spot all five big cats and other predators throughout the day. A picnic lunch happens right on the crater floor before you climb back up to the lodge.

Ngorongoro to Serengeti
After breakfast, you drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunches and cross into Serengeti National Park. You stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important prehistoric sites anywhere, then reach camp for dinner and rest.

Serengeti
You spend the entire day game driving across the vast Serengeti savannah. Meals happen right out in the bush rather than back at camp. Lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and plains game show up throughout the day. You're back at camp by evening.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 9
Serengeti to Masai Mara
After breakfast and a guide briefing, you drive toward Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. At Isebania border you handle customs, then open your packed lunches somewhere along the way. You arrive by late afternoon for a game drive, followed by campfire cocktails and dinner.

Masai Mara
Safari day in the Masai Mara, Kenya's best wildlife spot. You see massive lion prides, elephant herds, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, gazelles, zebras and over 550 bird species. Optional hot air balloon flights or Masai village visits cost extra.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
You leave after breakfast heading to Lake Naivasha or Lake Elementaita. Check in at your camp, have a late lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the water.

- Day 12
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
Morning boat ride takes you to Crescent Island Game Park where you walk among wildebeest, waterbuck, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, hippos, hyenas and pythons. From the hilltop you get 360-degree lake views. After heading back by boat, you drive to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Grab lunch and do some last shopping on your own before transferring to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
