- Day 1
Rabat
You'll start in Casablanca where the Hassan II Mosque dominates the skyline with its 210-meter minaret rising above the city. From there, head north to Rabat and spend time walking through several key spots: the Chellah Necropolis where ancient ruins sit among gardens, the Kasbah des Oudaias with its distinctive white and blue streets, the Andalusian Gardens for a quieter moment, and the Hassan Tower which offers views across the Bouregreg River.

- Day 2
Rabat to Chefchaouen
The drive north takes you through changing landscapes, starting with scenic plains and green hills before the Rif Mountains appear on the horizon. You'll arrive in Chefchaouen, the blue-washed city that feels like stepping into another world. Wander the winding medieval streets and check out Plaza Outa el-Hammam at the heart of things. If you're up for it, hike to the city walls for views or climb to a local hotel rooftop, or head to the Spanish Mosque for sunset over the mountains.

- Day 3
Fes
You'll leave early and first stop at Volubilis, the UNESCO-protected Roman ruins where you can walk through an ancient complex with mosaics and columns still standing. There's an optional detour into Meknes to see the Ville Imperiale and medina if timing allows, then continue east toward Fes. By late afternoon, head up to the Merenid Tombs to catch the light fading over Fes, then settle into your traditional riad for the night.

- Day 4
Fes
Your half-day guided tour takes you through Fes, the oldest imperial city with the most intact medina in the Arab world and a UNESCO site. You'll go through Bab Boujeloud gate and into Tal'aa Kebira where Spanish and Tunisian influences show in the architecture. Stop at the 11th-century Chouara Tannery where leather gets treated the traditional way, then visit the 14th-century Al Attarine Madrasa. After the medina, the Mellah Jewish quarter shows a different side of the city, and you'll finish in Ville Nouvelle to see the French colonial buildings.

Fes to Casablanca
Spend your morning at a Ceramics and Tile Collective where you can watch local artisans work and learn how they shape clay by hand, paint designs, and assemble tile mosaics. After that, head west toward Casablanca with optional stops in either Meknes or Rabat depending on what you want to see. By evening, grab refreshments at Rick's Cafe, the restaurant inspired by the classic Casablanca film, and enjoy the references to the movie throughout.
