  Instead of flying back to the UK from Cairo after visiting Hurghada, am I instead able to extend the stay in Hurghada by 2/3/4 days and fly directly back from there.

    Yes, absolutely! You can extend your stay in Hurghada by 2, 3, or 4 nights and then fly directly back to the UK from Hurghada instead of returning to Cairo.
    To make the itinerary work smoothly this way, we would recommend that your arrival day in Cairo is either a Thursday or Saturday. This allows us to coordinate the itinerary correctly with the Nile Cruise sailing schedule.
    We can then arrange the program so that you complete all of your Cairo sightseeing first, continue to Aswan and the Nile Cruise, and then travel onward to Hurghada after Luxor. This way, once you reach Hurghada, there will be no need to return to Cairo to complete any remaining sightseeing.
    You can then extend your Hurghada resort stay with us for:
    
    Adults: USD 75 per person, per additional night
    Children: USD 37.50 per child, per additional night
    
    So for your family of 2 adults and 2 children, we can arrange whichever extension suits you best–2, 3, or 4 additional nights.
    
    At the end, you can simply arrange your international flight directly from Hurghada back to the UK.

    Yes, airport transfers are included in the service and can be arranged at any time, according to your flight schedule.
    
    For your dates:
    
    * Arrival: Sunday, December 20 at 11:35 AM — we will pick you up from Cairo International Airport and transfer you to your hotel.
    * Departure: Sunday, January 3 at 12:30 PM — we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Cairo Airport.
    
    You don't need to worry about the pickup/drop-off location or arranging transportation yourself. We will coordinate everything based on your flight details.

    Our standard tours are operated with an English-speaking guide. However, if you would prefer a French-speaking guide, we can arrange one for the entire tour for an additional supplement of USD 100 per person.
    
    We welcome travelers from all over the world, so you certainly do not need to be an English or French traveler to join us. In fact, our TourRadar departures list several supported guide languages, depending on the arrangements.

    Regarding the price for 1 traveler compared with 2 travelers, our prices are quoted per person based on two people sharing a double/twin room. Many of the tour costs, such as hotel rooms, transportation and other arrangements, are shared between two travelers.
    Therefore, when only one person travels alone, a single supplement applies because that traveler is using the room and services alone. This is why the total price shown for one traveler will be the same as, the total for two travelers.
    For example, if two people travel, they share one hotel room and certain other tour costs. If one person travels, we still need to reserve that room and arrange the required services for that person alone.

    For your November 3, 2026 departure, your Cairo accommodation will be an apartment-style hotel. We usually work with properties such as Pyramids Spiritual Gate or similar, depending on availability for your exact dates.
    For the Nile Cruise, you will be accommodated on a 5-star Nile Cruise in a standard cabin. Some of the ships we commonly work with include Nabilatan and Royal Ruby, or another 5-star vessel of a similar standard. The exact ship is confirmed according to availability and the Nile sailing schedule.
    Yes, you can add the Abu Simbel excursion to your program for USD 130 per person. We will arrange it around the cruise schedule without replacing any of your included sightseeing.
    Regarding your accommodation as a solo traveler, the single/private room supplement is USD 2,800 for this departure.

    Regarding the electrical outlets in Egypt, we generally use Type C and Type F plugs, with 220V / 50Hz electricity. These are different from the standard US Type A/B plugs, so we recommend bringing a US-to-European/Egypt travel plug adapter. Also, please check that your devices support 220V. Most modern phone, laptop, and camera chargers support 100–240V, but it is always best to check the charger.

However, I would recommend booking it in advance if you already know that you definitely want to do it.   We are interested in Golden Egypt tour for April 23 to May 6. The group tour flies back to Cairo Airport May 5 and ends after breakfast May 6. But we would like to remain at airport May 5 and fly home at 19:50 that evening. Would the tour group be back to Cairo Airport May 5 in time for me and Paul to catch that flight home that flight at 19:50?

    We can arrange the Hurghada to Cairo domestic flight on May 5 at a suitable time so that you and Paul arrive back in Cairo with plenty of time to catch your 19:50 international flight that evening. You can go ahead and book the international flight that works best for you, and leave the domestic flight timing and the necessary arrangements to us. We will organize the itinerary accordingly to make sure everything fits comfortably with your departure. There is no need for you to stay until May 6 if you prefer to fly home on the evening of May 5. We will take care of the arrangements and make the connection as smooth as possible for you.

    On May 5th, we do not want to miss out on an optional activity that day before flying back to Cairo. For instance, we are interested in the Paradise Island tour. Would we be able to do that tour and still fly back to cairo in time for a 19:50 or 21:50 homeward bound flight on May 5? I checked flights from Hurghada to Cairo and only saw morning flight and 22:50 flight. If these are the only flights you use to get back to Cairo, then we would need to skip an optional activity on May 5th since the night flight would get back too late for our outward bound flight home.

    Unfortunately, there won't be enough time on May 5 to do the Paradise Island excursion and still comfortably make it back to Cairo in time for your 19:50 or 21:50 international flight. Paradise Island is generally a full-day excursion, and with the available Hurghada → Cairo flight timings, trying to do both on the same day would create too much risk with your international connection. If you decide to fly home on May 5, we would recommend keeping that day focused on your transfer and domestic flight back to Cairo rather than scheduling Paradise Island. We want to make sure your journey home is comfortable and, most importantly, that there is no risk of missing your international flight.

    The first week of June is certainly warm, but it is still a very popular time to visit Egypt. To make the experience as comfortable as possible, most sightseeing is scheduled early in the morning, when temperatures are much more pleasant. Your guide will also adjust the pace throughout the day, with breaks whenever needed, and all transportation is provided in air-conditioned vehicles.
    
    While many of Egypt's attractions are outdoors, such as the Pyramids and temples, there are also indoor or partially sheltered visits, including the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), where you'll spend a comfortable amount of time indoors.

Entrance fees and personal expenses are not included. Guests stay in carefully selected apartment style hotel with breakfast and lunch during Cairo tours and 5 star hurghada resort all inclusive, together with a 5 star Nile Cruise Full board. The exact cruise ship is assigned closer to the departure date based on the sailing schedule and availability. Some of the 5 star Nile Cruises we regularly work with include Blue Shadow, Mojito Nile Cruise, Sarah II, and Renaissance. The total entrance fees are approximately USD 170 per person, depending on any updates by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism before the travel date. Tipping is not mandatory.

    As this is a natural camping experience, there are no bathroom facilities. Guests are free to choose a private spot in the desert when needed, as is customary for this type of wilderness camping experience.
