Dear Terence, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're truly glad to hear that you enjoyed many aspects of the Wonders of Turkey tour — especially the itinerary, transportation, and the care provided by our driver, Ali. We will certainly pass on your kind words to him. That said, we’re genuinely sorry to hear that certain elements of the trip did not meet your expectations. Your feedback regarding the hotel meals and their location is very important to us, and we’ll be sure to share it with our hotel partners for future improvement. We are especially sorry to hear about the experience you had with our guide and the difficulty your husband faced due to the unexpected weather. Your request was a simple and very reasonable one, and we regret that it wasn’t acted upon appropriately. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this caused. We will be reviewing this matter carefully with our team, as our guests’ comfort and well-being are always our top priorities. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again. Thank you again! Dear Robin, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. We would like to note that Anıtkabir, regardless of Turkey’s current political climate, is the mausoleum of the founding leader of the Republic. It is an important historical and cultural site that contributes to a deeper understanding of the country, which is why it is included in the itinerary. We’re truly sorry that you were unable to experience the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia due to weather conditions. As for Gallipoli, we make a special effort to include it particularly when we have Australian guests on the tour, as we believe it holds great significance. We also appreciate the additional suggestions you’ve shared for future guests — thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. -Ozge, Dorak Tours

    Elaine

    Asked on January 17th, 2026

Can three sisters stay in the same room?

    Accommodation
    Group size
    • Dorak ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

Of course, it may be possible; however, this depends on the availability of triple rooms at the hotels. In addition, not every hotel has rooms with three separate beds. In such cases, a rollaway bed is usually added, which may not be very comfortable. For this reason, I can honestly say that we do not recommend this option. Adding one more single room would be a much more comfortable solution.

  • D

    Darren

    Asked on January 4th, 2026

How many dinners are included on this tour? The itinerary specifies "Overnight and dinner at the hotel," but the "What's included" section notes only one farewell dinner.

    Meals
    • Dorak ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

In cities outside of Istanbul, dinner is included and will be served at the hotel. On the last night of the tour in Istanbul, a farewell dinner is also included. Other than this, dinner is not included on the days spent in Istanbul.

Dorak Tour is one of Turkey's largest tourism companies, based in Turkey. We host guests coming from abroad and do our best to provide the highest quality service. In addition, Dorak Tour operates about 80% of the balloons in Cappadocia. Dorak USA is the American branch of Dorak Tour.

  • S

    Shirley

    Asked on November 11th, 2025

We are interested in your tour. We normally choose small group tours but we noticed this tour can be up to 35 people. What is your thoughts on the average tour size on November? Also, if there are less than 15 people does the tour go ahead? ie, is it guaranteed?

    Group size
    Tour Details
    • Dorak ToursOperatorWritten November 2025

Our capacity is 35 people, but we usually keep the group size smaller to ensure our guests' comfort. Unfortunately, November is a bit of a low season for us, so the number of participants tends to be smaller. For that reason, we're unable to operate tours with very few participants. If you're considering joining in September or October instead, I'd say there's about an 80% chance the tour will be guaranteed.

  • L

    Luis

    Asked on October 30th, 2025

We have a couple of travellers interested in booking this adventure, however, they would like to know whether the optional excursions need to booked and paid for prior to departure or whether they can be arranged while on tour.

    Payments
    Tour Details
    • Dorak ToursOperatorWritten October 2025

They don't need to make any payments in advance. Once they arrive in Turkey, activities can be organized based on the cities they are in and availability, and they can make the payments then.

Do you other departure dates for this or similar group tours as we are looking to start a trip October 31th or November 1st. We appreciate your very positive reviews, but it looks like that all your tours start a week before we arrive or a week after.

We are only 2 people on tour is it possible to fit us 8n a group of 15 if there is a vacancy?

    • Dorak ToursOperatorWritten July 2025

Transportation during the tour is provided either by a sprinter or a coach, depending on the number of participants. You are welcome to bring your scooter—it can be stored in the luggage compartment of the vehicle. In addition to the tour transportation, your package includes airport transfers on your arrival and departure days.
