  The company was well aware that the water levels in the Danube were low and that it would not be possible to cruise...
  The company was well aware that the water levels in the Danube were low and that it would not be possible to cruise very far from Vienna, only to Durnstein and Melk. Yet it sent the offer of deferring the cruise or of a refund with 20% in addition AFTER I had travelled to Vienna!! This could have been done EARLIER, and BEFORE customers travelled to Vienna. So this was absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE!! It was good that, in the alternative, the company offered free bus tours to many of the destinations on the itinerary. The staff of the Beethoven were absolutely wonderful, and did their best to take care of the customers. Solange, Gaelle, Judit, Florentin and others. The meals were also great! Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk NEVER answered the phone whenever I called...first, when the tour guide in Bratislava was prepared to leave SIX elderly group members behind. He took no responsibility for them. Thankfully, four returned on a bus of another cruise, and we found the other two waiting where the tour guide had left them at least THREE HOURS earlier! The other occasion when the staff did not answer the phone was on the day that I checked out early in the morning of 18 August 2026. Less than one hour after leaving, I realised that I had left the lovely souvenir CroisiEurope water bottle in my room (cost of Euros 19). I called but got no answer. So, I returned about 45 minutes later and was very disappointed to find that the souvenir water bottle, in its box, was NOT in my room... (!!!). I was even taken to my room (225) and shown that it was not there! WHERE did my souvenir bottle disappear to in LESS THAN ONE HOUR??!! Finally, I fell very sick in Vienna City Center on Monday, 17 August 2026. I called the ship's number to let them know that I was very ill and would not be able to attend the concert that I had paid EURO 92 for. Of course, there was NO ANSWER. I was therefore not able to offer my ticket to another passenger (and there were people who decided at the last moment to go!). ***I would therefore like to request a refund of the 92 Euros. If your staff had answered the phone, I would have been able to sell it to another passenger! Thank you for your kind attention. Gaile RamoutarShow more

The first ttour the guide in Vienna gave us was very poor. We were haragued by excessive detail, in a hot relatively airless museum with very poor lighting. She appeared to be relatively insensitive to the needs of the less fit members of the tour.Show more

  Very well managed comfortable cabin and amenities. Itinerary was great with combination of towns and city eg Budapest. Activities were good especially the horse show. Food was exquisite but too much of the French cuisine and bland vegetarian. Service was impeccable great crew. Communication was primarily French and other speakers occasionally missed messages (we had a French speaking passenger at our table who kept us informed). Overall a great experience.Show more

  The cruise was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure they were always available and ensured to keep the guests entertained. All the excursions were well arranged and the food was great. They accommodated to our vegetarian requirement. The only thing which can be improved is WiFi on the ship.. it was just not USABLE and the parking at the dock could be a more safe secured place. We had a robbery to our car with a broken glass when we returned from the holiday. Overall very good experience.Show more
