Itinerary
- Day 1
Lecce
You'll arrive in Lecce and get settled at your hotel. In the afternoon at 3pm, a small group walking tour starts to show you the city's Baroque architecture and historic center. Later that evening, you'll have a private 3-hour walking tour that takes you through Piazza Sant'Oronzo, past ancient churches, the old amphitheatre, and the Castle of Charles V to really get a feel for Lecce's character.

After breakfast, you'll join a private cooking class with a local Cesarina home cook. The focus is on authentic Lecce recipes and traditional Italian culinary techniques. You'll prepare Italian specialties throughout the class and then sit down to eat what you've made, with local red and white wines from the region paired with your dishes.

Lecce - Puglian Vineyards - Lecce
Following breakfast, you're heading out on a guided vineyard tour in the Negroamaro wine region near Guagnano. You'll visit a historic winery and walk through vineyards that use the ancient Alberello training method. There's also a unique artistic hermitage inspired by Gaudí to see. The tour wraps up with a sommelier-led tasting of four exclusive wines, paired with marenna (a rustic Puglian snack with local cheeses and cured meats).
