I'm planning on taking my family for a first trip to Egypt next year in either April or October and want to bring my small dog with me. I need some help finding dog friendly hotels and information on traveling with a small dog.

Unfortunately, bringing a dog on this tour won't be possible. Most of the hotels we use do not accept pets, and because this is a multi-destination group tour, we are unable to guarantee pet-friendly accommodation throughout the itinerary. If traveling with your dog is essential, we would recommend arranging a fully private, tailor-made tour with pet-friendly hotels, although availability is limited and subject to each hotel's policy.

1. Do travellers on this trip get the chance to go inside the Great Pyramid (provided they are allowing that at the time)? 2. Do travellers on this trip get the chance to go inside a few of the tombs at Valley of the Kings, as seems to be common with other tours? If so, is there specific ones that this trip enters, or do people get to decide themselves? 3. When booking this trip, do you have to add the optional activities at the time of first booking, or can they be added later on? If so, when would they need to be added by?

1. Great Pyramid Interior Visit Yes, travellers will have the opportunity to enter the Great Pyramid, provided it is open to visitors at the time of your trip. Please note that entry inside the pyramid requires a separate ticket, which can be purchased on-site subject to availability. 2. Valley of the Kings Yes, the tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Kings, and visitors are typically allowed to visit 3 different tombs. The specific tombs open to visitors can vary depending on restoration work and decisions by the Egyptian authorities. On the day of your visit, your guide will advise which tombs are open. Some special tombs, such as the tomb of Tutankhamun, require an additional ticket if you wish to visit them. 3. Optional Activities Optional activities do not need to be added at the time of booking. They can usually be added later, subject to availability. We recommend adding any optional extras at least a few weeks before departure to ensure availability, particularly for popular experiences. If you decide after booking that you'd like to add any extras, simply contact us and we'll be happy to assist.

Do you offer the same tour if we arrive on 24th Nov 3pm and depart on 8 Dec 26 from Cairo with the flight at 12:30pm? If not, is it possible to catch a flight on 7th afternoon/evening instead on 8th morning?

I know if I arrive early I won't get pick up as well as if I stay a few more days after. Would I get refunded for those ones?

And Nasir was so knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions. Highlights are definitely the pyramids cause well pyramids 🤷‍♀️, and Dendara temple was absolutely stunning. Note of caution DO NOT make eye o tact or acknowledge the vendors in bazaar or at stalls it can be overwhelming. Being polite and trying to disengage made it worse honestly. Just ignore, both guides were very clear on this and it took a little for our Canadian niceties to go away.Show more

Good things: Ship was nice, the food was nice, Hurgada resort was véry nice. Guides were knowledgeable. The staff on the ship was very friendly. The sites visited were amazing. Things to improve: * The Cairo day felt a bit rushed. Some in the group needed to catch a flight, which meant less time at the museum. Scrapping the papyrus store when this happens seems to be at least one way to allow more time in the museum. * The night train was an "experience", not much possibility to sleep due to noise and movement. * When optional activities are not chosen, a suggestion on what to do instead would be welcome. * The optional activities in Hurghada were not good value for money. We checked with others doing the same activities, and it seems they paid less than half. Moreover, there were quality issues with the dune equipment in our case. * The Hurghada resort needs to review how many activity vendors it allows on the beach. Literally every 5 min we were bothered. Meaning basically the beach became unusable. The Pools were fine though, so we stayed there. The rest of the resort was excellent value. Especially the food.Show more

My guide Anas was very knowledgeable on all aspects of our trip and sites we saw I have been to Egypt before with archeological paths very overpriced and only difference was Zahi hawass ( not worth additional 8000$ for short visits and claiming only he discovers everything in Egypt) no credit to any of the actual team it took!! Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with AB Voyages Egypt. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and AB Voyages Egypt will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "AB Voyages Egypt" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
