Your comments about travelling in the Egyptian summer are particularly important. Temperatures can be extremely high, especially around Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel, and we understand how challenging this can be for older travellers and guests with medical requirements. We are sorry that the actual temperatures were significantly higher than you had anticipated and that the conditions affected your partner's insulin. We will take your feedback seriously and look at how we can provide clearer seasonal and heat-related information before departure, particularly for travellers with medical conditions. We also appreciate your comments about the overnight train. While the train service is operated independently of us, we understand that the experience can be uncomfortable, please note that we offered you the flight upgrade options before the trip starts but you refused it. Most importantly, we are delighted that after having Egypt on your bucket list for more than 40 years, you finally had the opportunity to experience it. Egypt can certainly be an adventurous and demanding destination, but we hope the incredible temples, ancient sites, Nile scenery and memories you created with your fellow travellers will stay with you for many years.
