Arrival in Cairo
You'll land in Cairo and our team handles your transfer to the hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is free to recover from your journey and get comfortable.

- Day 2
Cairo
Head out early for a guided tour of Egypt's most iconic sites. You'll see the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then continue to Saqqara where you can walk through the ancient necropolis with its sand-covered tombs and Djoser's step pyramid. Later, stop at a government-supervised Papyrus Museum to finish out the day.

Cairo
Start your morning at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, which holds relics and artifacts from nearly every period of ancient Egyptian history. You'll see King Tutankhamun's famous golden funerary mask. After lunch, head to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and check out the Royal Mummies' Hall with its well-preserved pharaonic remains. That evening, you'll board the night train to Aswan.

Aswan
You arrive in Aswan and check into your hotel. Later, take a boat trip to Agilika Island to see the Temples of Philae, which were dedicated to the goddess Isis. Before evening, stop at a perfume oil shop in Aswan. Then you're free to wander the souqs, shop, or relax however you prefer.

- Day 5
Aswan to Felucca
Early risers can join an optional excursion to the Temple of Abu Simbel, a massive rock-carved temple with four giant statues of King Ramses II standing guard. In the afternoon, set sail on a felucca for a two-night journey downstream on the Nile, stopping at villages and islands along the way. A 5-star Nile cruise upgrade is available if you'd prefer that instead.

Nile River Felucca
Spend a relaxed day sailing along the Nile with scenic river views. You'll have time to swim and relax on deck under the sun. In the afternoon, the boat anchors near Kom Ombo and you'll use a motorboat to reach the temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god. After exploring, you'll return to the felucca for a peaceful night on the water.

Kom Ombo to Luxor
This morning you'll leave the felucca and head to Luxor, a city with 4,000 years of history and home to the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Karnak. Later in the evening, visit the Temple of Luxor to see its impressive courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.

- Day 8
Luxor
Travel to the West Bank of the Nile to explore the Valley of the Kings. You'll see the Colossi of Memnon, remnants of Amenophis III's temple, and walk through the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and its nearby tombs. After grabbing lunch, continue to the Temple of Karnak with its intricate stone papyrus columns. The evening is yours to spend however you like.

Luxor to Hurghada
Leave Luxor and travel east to Hurghada on the Red Sea Riviera. You'll have the next three days to relax on the beaches and enjoy the coastal scenery of this popular resort destination.

- Days 10 - 11
Hurghada
You have two full days of freedom in Hurghada to unwind or explore as you choose. There's an optional day trip available to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkeling. The area offers water activities like sailboarding, yachting, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. You can also check out offshore reefs, windsurfing spots, shopping at the ancient Roman quarry Mons Porphyritis, and nightlife options.

Departure from Cairo
Start with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel to wrap up your Egyptian trip. Then you'll relax while we arrange your transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
