  The food was fantastic and the cabin was spacious and very comfortable. However as English speaking guests amongst a boat full of French speakers we did like an afterthought on several occasions. We were put on a separate table for meals and although the tours were also in English we clearly didn’t get the same amusing experience as the French passengers from our translation. We also felt that there was not enough to entertain us in the mornings. As the sun didn’t shine we were mostly indoors and felt there should have been more talks, demonstrations, quizzes or entertainment.Show more

The crew, food, drinks and general atmosphere was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this river cruise.   The tour itself was good. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to ensure your enjoyment. The rooms were a decent size, bigger than some larger cruise ships. Food was good. Lots of it and they cook would try to accommodate any special need. We met the nicest couple from England, and thankfully we did because we were the only 4 English speaking people on the boat. There were some bilingual folks (other than crew) but they were there with French speaking guests. While generally the staff did everything they could to accommodate us - it felt like an accommodation and many of the French guest started to resent it. On tours the guide would explain something in French for 10 minutes and then in English would give us one line. Also we got into a verbal fight with one French guest who basically told us “English go home”. So my advice to Corsi is, if you are a French passenger cruise, then be that. Don’t try to accommodate. Advertise clearly that all programming is in French. Or if you want to attract English speaking guests as well, then advertise more in Canada, England, USA. You’ll get more travellers and the passengers will be more balanced. Overall it was good. Staff were great. Balance between French and English wasn’t good.Show more

  The meals on board were very good and only a few were exceptional… Unless you signed up for the optional excursions, there was not much to do when the ship was docked along the shores - Having said that, the excursions were very informative and fun! But be prepared to budget for them. The crew/staff were exceptional and the boat was beautiful and spotless!Show more
