Can you advise single supplement

My Own Room for the Thursday 12 March, 2026 departure is $949 AUD. Please note this is on request, so we would need to get confirmation of availability from our local office. You will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Night 3: Overnight bus, Nights 4-5: Pucón.

What is the cancellation policy for this tour?

The cancellation policy includes various deadlines for non-refundable deposits and fees depending on how close to the departure date the cancellation occurs. Specific percentages and conditions apply.

After the overnight bus journey arriving in Pucon on day 4, do we have access to the hotel straight away or do we need to wait until a check-in is available later in the day?

The hotel check in is around 2pm. Usually the group arrives and drop of their luggage at the hotel (in the hotel storage area), and either rest in the lobby then leave together for a meal, walk around etc.. The hotel will let everyone check in as soon as the rooms are ready, so could be before 2pm, like 12pm or 1pm.

What are the physical demands of the tour?

The physical rating for this tour is light, suitable for most fitness levels, but it includes multiple travel days and considerable walking.

What are the optional activities available during the tour, and how can they be booked?

Optional activities can be booked through your CEO (tour leader) during the tour. Most of these activities require cash payment at the destination.

What meals are included during the tour?

Details regarding the inclusion of meals vary depending on the specific tour schedule. Typically, most breakfasts are included along with some lunches and dinners.

What if we are 3 people and all want to stay in one room?

All rooms are twin share, we only request triples for when there is a minor travelling with their parents.

Is there a minimum number of travellers required for the tour to proceed?

Our trips are guaranteed to depart, and we do not have a minimum number of travellers required to proceed with the tour.

Could I check the below please: 1) Trip cost: my friend booked this trip and invited me to come along but he purchased it for a lower price. Am I missing something? 2) Are the flights from/to London included as well? If so, can I arrive before and leave after the fixed dates? 3) There is an overnight bus journey. I am not terribly good with travelling on cars and buses for long period of times due to motion sickness. How bad is the journey? Don' want to be a nuisance - lol. 4) I love mountains and would be very much interested in adding a trek to my trip. Is it possible to fit this in by booking locally?

International flights are not included and need to be booked separately. We do have long drives on our tours as you move around between cities and countries. You can speak to the guide to enquire about trekking - this is not something we can pre arrange.

Valparaiso was vibrant and quirky, Pucon wild and adventurous, Bariloche breathtakingly beautiful and quaint and Buenos Aires historic and passionate. The succulent red wine, seafood, trout, beer and chocolate fueled the adventure. The day spent on the ranch on the back of a horse will not be forgotten.Show more

I have been on 15 tours already with different companies and I can truthfully say this one was the worst tour. The accommodations were below average. The first hotel had mold all over the room and when I told the CEO he did NOTHING.A tour provided by them was a museum in Santiago and the city tour guide and the CEO would not go with us and all information was in Spanish. (I do not read Spanish). We traveled public buses twice and one of those was for 12 hours. The buses were filthy! The CEO left the group the evening before the tour was finished,telling us he had to start another group. We had no one with our group the last 16 hours. Total waste of time and money.....Show more

I was expecting quite a 'dull' trip overland from Santiago de Chile to Buenos Aires, and I was delighted by how active it was, all the included activities and optional ones, and the enthusiasm of our guide. I will say I did not expect the region to be so cold, but I should have done more research there. All in all, I'd gladly do this journey again.Show more

  By "how bad the journey is" I mean that I suffer from motion sickness so if the trip involves spending over 4 hours on bus, specially overnight, then this is not the trip for me.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 30th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 30th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
