Itinerary
- Day 1
Departure from Germany
Your Namibian adventure kicks off with an evening flight from Germany to Windhoek. You'll arrive the following morning, giving you time to settle in before things get going.
- Day 2
Windhoek
Landing in the early afternoon, your German-speaking guide meets you for an afternoon walk through Windhoek's city center. You'll pass by Independence Avenue, Alte Feste, and Christuskirche, then wander through Parliament Gardens and stop at the Independence Memorial for photos. By evening, head to Joe's Beerhouse to try some Namibian cuisine.

Windhoek to Waterberg
Head north through quiet Namibian landscape. First stop is the large woodcarving market in Okahandja, then you'll spend time at the AfriCat Foundation learning about conservation and meeting cheetahs. Later you reach Waterberg Wilderness Lodge where you can relax by the pool. An optional afternoon game drive lets you hunt for rare rhinos and catch the sunset.

- Day 4
Waterberg - Etosha National Park
Start the morning learning about the 1904 Battle of Waterberg and exploring the military cemetery at the mountain's base. Waterberg Plateau Park shows off diverse landscapes with wild fig trees, fire lilies, and coral trees, plus wildlife like leopards, rhinos, buffalo, and Cape vultures. An optional hike takes you to the high plateau for views, then you head to your lodge at Etosha National Park's southern gate.

- Day 5
Etosha National Park Safari - Day 1
Spend the entire day in an open four-wheel drive vehicle searching for lions, elephants, antelopes, and giraffes across Etosha's vast landscape. At midday, head back to the lodge and relax by the pool during the animals' rest time, then return for sunset viewing.

- Day 6
Etosha National Park Safari - Day 2
Another full day exploring the game reserve from sunrise to sunset. You'll drive along the enormous salt pan and stop at numerous waterholes where animal herds gather to drink, looking for lions, elephants, elands, Damara dikdiks, and giraffes. By evening, you'll be back at the lodge.

- Day 7
Himba Village - Damaraland - Ugab Valley
A guided tour takes you to a Himba village to learn about the 'red nomads' and their traditions and beauty practices. Then you continue through Damaraland's wild landscape with dry riverbeds and granite rocks to reach Vingerklip lodge. After hiking to the distinctive rock formation and having a sundowner, you'll relax at the swimming pools before dining at a high vantage point on the lodge plateau.

- Day 8
Twyfelfontein - Damara - Brandberg - Uis
Visit the 'Living Museum' of the Damara to learn about indigenous Damara and Bushmen culture. At Twyfelfontein, you'll take a 2-hour guided hike past over 2,500 rock engravings and paintings, including the famous 'Dancing Kudu.' The barren, red-glowing mountains lead you to Uis for the night at a guesthouse with views of the Brandberg massif at sunset.

- Day 9
Uis - Desert Elephant Tracking
Head out with elephant expert Anton on a game drive in search of Namibia's desert elephants. You'll roam the vast area between the Huab and Ugab dry rivers, seeing the Brandberg massif and rock paintings, and if you're lucky, spotting desert lions under the starry skies. After returning, relax by the pool in the afternoon and watch ibex at the waterhole.

Landmarks Brandberg - Day 10
San Village - Swakopmund
Visit a San village to learn about their original way of life and how they balance tradition with modernity while supporting their community. Later, continue to Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast, where the cold Benguela Current keeps things cooler. Check out colonial buildings, try Black Forest gateau at Café Anton, stroll the pier, or relax on secluded beaches. You'll spend two nights at a centrally located hotel.

- Day 11
Swakopmund
Spend the day exploring Swakopmund's relaxed atmosphere. Walk around discovering German colonial architecture, enjoy the peaceful Atlantic beach, or visit the woodcarving market near the lighthouse. Many locals speak German, and palm-lined avenues give the town a laid-back feel. Optional excursions include a catamaran tour to Walvis Bay for dolphin and seabird watching, or a guided desert tour to spot the Little Five.

Namib-Naukluft National Park
Travel through Namib-Naukluft National Park, stopping at Solitaire (Namibia's most famous petrol station) before heading south. You'll see ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis plants that can live up to 1,000 years. Reaching the Elegant Desert Eco Camp near Sossusvlei, you'll experience a memorable sunset and dine under the open sky in the boma with campfire ambiance.

- Day 13
Sossusvlei - Deadvlei - Sesriem Canyon
Starting early, you'll catch the play of light and shadow on Sossusvlei's apricot-colored dunes. Climb one of the world's highest dunes for views of endless desert, then visit Deadvlei to see the surreal landscape of dead camel thorn trees. On the return, explore the 30-meter-deep Sesriem Canyon with a short hike through the narrow gorge. An optional sundowner drive gives you spectacular desert views and an ice-cold gin and tonic. Sleep under the stars on the terrace with panoramic views of the Naukluft Mountains.

- Day 14
Namib Desert - Windhoek
Travel toward the Windhoek region to stay at the beautiful Eningu Lodge, where naturally built stone rooms blend with the surrounding landscape. Watch for ibex and other wildlife at the lodge's waterhole. Enjoy authentic Namibian cuisine at the lodge restaurant for your farewell dinner, with optional hikes on the farm if you're interested.

Departure - Windhoek
The morning is yours to optionally hike on the farm grounds or visit artist Dörte Berner's studio nearby. Head to the airport at midday for your flight home, carrying memories of Namibia's natural wonders.

Arrival in Germany
