    We have checked again with our tour manager and can confirm that transportation between the Nile cruise and Edfu Temple is now arranged by private car, not by horse-drawn carriage.
    
    So there is no need to use the horse-drawn carriage during your visit to Edfu Temple.

    The optional excursions are arranged without affecting the main itinerary. For example, if the travellers choose the Abu Simbel excursion, it takes place early in the morning on the relevant cruise day. After returning to the cruise, the ship start sailing and is scheduled to visit Kom Ombo at around 5:00 PM. Therefore, Abu Simbel does not replace or interfere with the scheduled cruise itinerary.

    Abu Simbel is an optional excursion and can be added to the booking. The entrance fees to the archaeological sites and temples are not included in the tour price. The current entrance-fee package is USD 100 per person, payable on Day 1, or it can be added and paid for in advance with the booking. Payment can be made in cash in USD or by card.

    The cruise package is full board. Meals start with lunch on Day 1 and end with breakfast on the final day. Drinks are not included and are paid directly to the cruise ship during the sailing. We also normally provide all our guests with bottled drinking water during the tours.

  We are interested in the four-day Aswan–Luxor cruise departing on 23 October 2026. We are two adults travelling with our six-year-old daughter and would need a triple cabin. Could you confirm availability, the total family price and whether the itinerary is suitable for a child of her age, particularly regarding early starts and long transfers? Does the boat have a swimming pool? Our daughter does not have a passport and will travel with her Italian electronic identity card, valid for international travel. Can you confirm that this document is accepted for the booking and the cruise passenger manifest?

    For travelling with a six-year-old child, we would recommend considering our 5-day Luxor-Aswan cruise, as it is more suitable for children and does not involve early-morning starts, making the experience more comfortable for your family.
    
    Your daughter is entitled to a 50% child discount. If you are ready to proceed, you can select the triple cabin when making the booking. Once the booking is confirmed, we will apply the 50% discount for your daughter and refund the discount amount back to you.
    
    Regarding her Italian electronic identity card, valid for international travel, this will not be an issue for embarkation on the cruise boat or for the passenger manifest.

  My flight arrives at Cairo Airport at 8:15 AM on December 23. If I take a flight from Cairo to Aswan after arriving in Cairo, would it be possible to join the cruise on the same day? Could you please let me know: * What time is the pickup on the first day? * What is the latest time I can arrive at Aswan Airport and still join the cruise? * Would arriving at Aswan Airport around noon be too late?

    Pickup on the first day can be arranged from Aswan Airport. The first-day program includes transfer to the Nile cruise and sightseeing in Aswan, including Philae Temple.
    
    Arriving at Aswan Airport around noon may still be possible, but it is later than we normally recommend and will depend on the final cruise and sightseeing schedule for that date.
    
    We recommend taking the earliest possible Cairo–Aswan flight after your arrival in Cairo. Once you have a specific domestic flight option, please send us the flight number and arrival time in Aswan, and we can confirm whether it will work with the cruise schedule before you book it.

    On the final day in Luxor, after checking out from your cabin, you can leave your luggage safely on board the Nile cruise while you are out for the included sightseeing. Once the sightseeing is finished, you can return to the cruise to collect your luggage before your final transfer/drop-off. So there is no need to arrange separate luggage storage in Luxor.

    Yes, there is definitely a swimming pool on the cruise ship's sundeck, so you'll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the pool during the cruise.
    
    Regarding Abu Simbel, it is completely optional. If you decide not to take the excursion, you can simply stay on board and enjoy the cruise, or alternatively explore Aswan on your own that day.
