We're planning a trip to Glacier in August 2026 and we're very much interested in your 5 day Rockie tour. We will be driving and we're wondering if there is a start and stop package from Waterton?

This 5-day bus tour follows a fixed itinerary and route, starting and ending in Calgary. If you prefer to start and end the tour in Waterton National Park, we recommend considering a private tour. Private tour pricing is typically 1.5 to 2 times the cost of a bus tour, as it offers greater flexibility and can be customized to your interests.

We are 3 of us and will share 1 room. Dates are July1-5. We would like to spend the 5th night in Calgary too. 3 person 1 room. check out on July 6th. When I try and book directly on tour page it does not give me the option of an extended hotel night. Also the options on the optional tours are all 4. the 2 you mentioned plus skywalk and lake cruise. We don't want those and would only like the Banff Gondola + Ice explorer. Understand you may like to compare how is the difference of the cost from 5 days to 7 days. Kindly tell us more about your plan or idea, especially for 7 adults, how many room you will need.

Are we guaranteed a hotel room that night for next morning departure?

If you would like to add a post-stay at a hotel near Calgary Airport, the price is CAD$175 per room for 2 adults. This includes airport transfer but does not include breakfast.

I would like to share a room with like minded person to reduce the cost of the trip.

We are unable to match solo travelers to share a room. But we are happy to host solo traveler who book single room here in the Rockies.

When will we know the hotels we will be staying in?

The final itinerary with the hotels name will be sent to you before 72 hours of the tour departure.

How often do you stop for washroom breaks and food breaks at lunch. What is the cost of optional menu. Is there a lot of walking

We don't have restroom on our bus, but during the tour, our tour guide will stop for washrooms. We will have lunch break everyday around 1 to 2 hours and we will drop off our guest at a place that near restaurants or stores. The cost for the optional lunch for this tour is CAD$162 per person. It is more like a sightseeing tour. Sometimes we have seniors joined our tours and they usually had a great experience.

The sights visited were outstanding and certainly enhanced given the excellent weather. The pick up at airport was finally accomplished as we had no idea which hotel we were to travel to. Hotels were adequate though we changed many times. Our bus guide was excellent and kind to us because we were only one of two couples that spoke English. He had to translate also in Mandarin and Cantonese as 80% or more were Chinese or Indian and seemed to be traveling as friends making us feel excluded. We lived aboard 15 years traveling the world for 50 plus years so we have always been been inclusive of ethnic diversity. I felt they too were rude to the guide who was being very patient. Kudos to him!Show more
