  1. Day 1

    Cairo

    You'll land at Cairo airport and meet your representative who handles customs and paperwork. An air-conditioned bus takes you to the Grand Pyramids Hotel for check-in. After that, your time is open - you can shop around the city, check out museums, or just settle in and rest after traveling.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo

    Following breakfast, you head to Giza to see the three main pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. The Sphinx is right there too, and you get a 10-minute camel ride included. After that, you'll stop at the Papyrus Institute to see how they make paper the ancient way, then visit a papyrus museum, perfume factory, and jewelry shops. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore the Egyptian Museum on your own if you want.

  3. Day 3

    Cairo

    After breakfast, an Egyptologist takes you through Old Cairo's religious sites like the Amr Ibn El Ass Mosque, Ahmed Ibn Toloun Mosque, Salah El Din's Citadel, plus the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then you join a 3-hour food tour walking through Cairo's streets learning about traditional Egyptian cooking, local ingredients, and cultural traditions. You'll get lunch at a local Koshari restaurant with authentic Egyptian dishes included.

  4. Day 4

    Cairo to Aswan

    You'll have an early breakfast, then head to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Once you arrive, a representative meets you and takes you to the pier where you board your Nile cruise ship. After getting settled and meeting your English-speaking guide, you visit the High Dam and see the unfinished Obelisk. Back on the ship you check in and have lunch. Your evening is free for optional activities or just exploring the ship's facilities.

  5. Day 5

    Aswan to Luxor

    Post-breakfast, you can choose an early trip to Abu Simbel to see the two temples and Ramses II's Temple with its four massive statues, or stay on board and use the ship's facilities. After lunch, you sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temples of Sobek and Horus. Then a carriage takes you from Edfu to the Temple of Horus before sailing to Luxor. Dinner and overnight happen on the cruise.

    Luxor

    Breakfast on board comes first, then you transfer to see Luxor's main attractions. On the West Bank you visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. On the East Bank you check out Karnak temples, the Mosque Abu El Hagag, Luxor Temple, and the Sphinxes Avenue. After lunch back on the cruise, your evening is free for optional excursions or to relax before heading back to Cairo the next day.
