Our preference would be June 10–19, 2027. June is a better period for this itinerary. The days are longer, which gives more daylight to enjoy the destinations and experiences without making the program feel rushed. Temperatures are generally very pleasant for sightseeing, while the weather is also suitable for swimming and enjoying the Adriatic coast. Early September is also double, however, it is still peaks season period for the region and can feel busier, particularly along the Montenegrin coast. For the type of experience you are looking for, relaxed, authentic and not overly touristy, we would therefore lean towards June.
