Itinerary
- Day 1
Salta
You'll arrive in Salta by 2:00 pm and get picked up at the airport for the drive to your hotel. This afternoon, your guide takes you through the historic centre, starting with 9th of July Square and the Cathedral, then moving on to San Francisco's Church and San Bernardo's Convent. After that, you'll climb San Bernardo's Hill to get views across the city. The tour continues through the university areas and San Lorenzo village before stopping at the Craft Market. By evening you're back at the hotel.

- Day 2
Salta to Cafayate
Following breakfast at the hotel, you drive south on National Route 68, climbing through the Cuesta del Obispo and reaching Piedra del Molino at 3,384 meters/11,102 feet where the panoramic views open up nicely. You'll cross through Los Cardones National Park along the old Inca trail Recta de Tin-Tin, arriving in Cachi around noon to grab lunch. From there, Route 40 takes you through small villages along the Calchaquí River, including Seclantás, Molinos, and Angastaco. Later you pass through Quebrada de Las Flechas, finishing the day in Cafayate by evening.

Cafayate
After breakfast at your hotel, you spend the day at local wineries tasting award-winning wines, including the well-known Torrontés wine from both smaller and larger producers. Following lunch, the drive back to Salta takes you through Quebrada de las Conchas and Valle de Lerma, getting you to your hotel in Salta by evening.
