Lima
This morning, walk through Lima's colonial heart with a Local Expert, checking out the Cathedral, Government Palace, Archbishop's Palace and City Hall. After that, you'll head to Casa Aliaga mansion before spending time at Museo Larco exploring their Pre-Columbian art collection. Grab lunch in the museum's 18th-century garden with regional Peruvian dishes.

Lima to Cusco to Sacred Valley
Head to Lima airport for your flight to Cusco. Once there, you'll begin your Sacred Valley tour with scenic stops along the way. Around lunchtime, stop at Altar Inca for a meal with regional views. Transfer to your hotel and take it easy for the evening, resting and adjusting to the altitude.

- Day 4
Sacred Valley
Start at the Maras salt pans where the Incas harvested salt, then move on to Moray to learn how people cultivated crops in ancient times. Meet a local Quechua weaver and see traditional textile techniques firsthand. You'll have lunch at Laguna Piuray with a traditional Pachamanca feast, then finish the day at Hacienda Huayoccari with exploration and a special Peruvian dinner.

Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Transfer to IncaRail station, stopping at Ollantaytambo ruins along the way. Visit a local house in the village to meet the family. In the afternoon, your Local Experts guide you through Machu Picchu in small groups, explaining the historical and archaeological significance of this 15th-century sanctuary. Return to your hotel for dinner and drinks.

Machu Picchu to Cusco
After breakfast, take the train back to Ollantaytambo, then transfer to Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. On arrival, join a walking tour with a Local Expert to see Cusco's cathedral and the Qorikancha temple, the most important temple in all of the Inca Empire. Your evening is free to explore local restaurants and bars.
