This is a regular sized tour so it would have a maximum of 44 passengers. You will not be on the bus longer than 2 hours at a time as the coach makes frequent stops. Time on the bus would vary depending on the day and the activates for each day. Some days may have more coach time than others.

Where is the meeting place? Would we make it to the start destination in time if our flight arrives at 11:55? Is there transportation available to Dublin from Shannon at the end of the tour?

We do need at least 30 days to confirm a tour so we would not be able to confirm this date as departure is so close. We do have 2024 date available.

This was one of the most amazing trips my wife and i have ever taken. CIE tours had a terrific schedule to see many incredible features of southern Ireland. The tour Director, John Doran, was someone who made the tour amazing, he was so knowledgeable in on the history and always had fun facts about the area we were in. John Doran was a patient person who would accommodate the needs of any of the 43 people on our tour and CIE is lucky to have such a professional gentleman working for them. If we know that John Doran would be our tour director, we would not hesitate to use CIE again.Show more

We couldn't have been happier with Lloyd (tour director) and Neil (driver) on our Southern Gems tour of Ireland. We had 6 people in our group ranging in age of 80 down to 20. Lloyd and Neil made us all feel welcomed and glad we were part of their tour. Lloyd even gave a nickname to my father-in-law (Jackie Boy) which made he feel special. Lloyd's signing was top notch! :) Lloyd was full of information but not to the point where it put you to sleep. We had a wonderful time and we believe it was due to Lloyd and Neil. Neil is an expert drive and we were all amazed at how well he maneuvered the coach through many tight places. They went out of their way to make the trip special for everyone. Thanks Lloyd & Neil! When we come back we would like to request you as our tour director and driver.Show more

We toured just last week and had such a wonderful time! We were apprehensive because it was myself and my two daughters. But it was so well planned by cie that we were just fine by the end of the first day. Our driver was "bob" and he made the whole trip worthwhile. I've been on other tours in the states; but he is by far the most informative tour guide/driver we have ever had. He shared with us all his knowledge about ireland and i have come home knowing so much more than all the books i have read before going to ireland. I am blessed for this to have been my fourth time to visit Ireland, visiting relatives each time, but never have I learned so much about the history of Ireland. No guide book and no relative could have been given me so such sought after information. Our tour guide and driver, Brian Rice was so perfect, soft spoken, a gentleman who guided each individual with personal attention,even through Hurricane Ophelia. He was witty, quiet when needed, yet full of amazing trivia. We were taken care of everyday and would recommend this tour company to anyone planning a group tour.Show more

My review is a little late, but I just want to say what a fantastic time I had in Ireland this year. We had the best Tour Guide, Sabina Murphy! Sabina kept us entertained throughout the whole trip, her knowledge of history was amazing and her way of sharing information was engaging. Sabina has a really great sense of humour too. I was lucky enough to do the tour with 31 Americans (some people might groan at that), who were a fabulous group of people, in fact Sabina kept saying 'you are such a great group!' And our bus driver shaun was also a happy person to be around (not so much the shaun who came for a day or so at some point) I'm traditionally an independent traveller, I've done previous bus tours and I have to say they weren't my favourite experiences, but my trip in Ireland was magical - thanks mainly to Sabina Kind regards DiShow more
