Their coordinator Omar looked after us through every pickup and transfer with high quality assitants, vehicles and drivers navigating us through the airports and complex traffic. The quality of accommodation thoughout was also very high. However the knowledge of their Egyptologists made it the right trip for us. In Cairo we worked with Mena and throughout the rest of the trip we worked with Midhat. Both were not mere guides but souces of knowledge not avialable without years of training. We cannot recommend Planet Tours highly enough for any serious history buffs. Let them look after you like they did us. (Do be prepared for some early starts. There is alot to fit into the time avaialable)Show more

Unfortunately due to Egyptian law there are travel restrictions on Palestinian and Syrian nationals in place since January this year we cannot accept any bookings from guests from these countries. Please check with your local Egyptian Embassy for verification of travel documents as this is important to avoid inconviences to your passengers

Asked on June 10th, 2025What is the name of the hotel? Is it possible to book tours only? The client prefers a 3 bedroom or higher apartment with a view of the Nile.

the name of the Hotel is Barcelo Pyramids. If the guests requires something in downtown Cairo then they would have to chose a higher category of hotel as hotels with Nile view are either 5 star or 5 star luxury hotels, and obviously Nile view is more expensive. Unfortunately we cannot run just the excursions and we do not deal with apartments in private buildings.
