While I enjoyed being picked up at the airport, transferred to my hotels and easy traveling to the various sites in Peru, I think that part of the visits were too commericalized. Watching a demonstration on textile weaving was followed up with 20-30 minutes of shopping at the demonstration site. We are not attracted to tourist built 'cultural appreciations'. We are not looking to be scheduled or guided the whole time, as I said, we like to wander around (on foot).
