Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your airport transfer meets you at the terminal and takes you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check-in happens at 14:00, though if you arrive earlier you can wait in the lobby or book an extra night for immediate access. The evening is flexible - you can take a 2-hour Nile cruise with dinner and entertainment, catch a Sound and Light show if one's running, or simply settle in after your flight.

Giza - Saqqara - Memphis
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide meets you to head out to Giza Plateau. You'll see the Great Pyramid of Khufu along with Khafre's and Menkaure's pyramids, plus the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. There's a good photo spot here with all three pyramids and Cairo's skyline in frame. From there you travel to Saqqara to check out the Step Pyramid of Zoser and the Imhotep Museum, then continue on to Memphis to see the Statue of Ramses II and an alabaster sphinx at Egypt's former capital.

- Day 3
Luxor
Start with breakfast, then spend your morning at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities going through over 250,000 artifacts covering 5,000 years of history, including King Tutankhamun's golden treasures. Next you'll visit the Citadel of Salah El-din and the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque for views over Cairo. If there's time before evening, Khan El Khalili Bazaar - one of the Middle East's oldest bazaars - is worth a walk through. Later you head to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Luxor, with dinner included on board.

West Bank
Breakfast happens on the train before you arrive in Luxor. Your representative meets you, and then you cross to the West Bank to see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood at this entrance for 3,400 years. You'll explore the Valley of the Kings with its roughly 60 royal tombs, including the famous Tomb of King Tutankhamun. After lunch at a local restaurant, you visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahary, which spreads across three impressive levels.

- Day 5
Cairo
An early breakfast at your Luxor hotel comes before heading to the East Bank of the Nile. You'll check out Karnak Temple, which spans 100 hectares and ranks as the largest religious complex ever built, with three main temples and countless smaller ones connected by an avenue of sphinxes. Then you move to the majestic Luxor Temple, constructed by Amenhotep III and Ramses II and dedicated to the god Amun. After free time for shopping in town, you transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo with dinner on the train.

Coptic Cairo
After breakfast on the train, your private guide takes you through Coptic Cairo, starting with Babylon Fortress and the Hanging Church, then moving through the Church of St. Barbara, Church of St. Sergius, and Ben Ezra synagogue. You'll also see the Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque, Egypt's first mosque, and the Church of Simon the Tanner with its legendary connection to Mokattam Mountain. Following a quality lunch, you head to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization near Old Cairo to see artifacts from Pharaonic through modern periods, including the royal mummies hall with golden sarcophagi and remains of famous pharaohs.

Cairo to Airport
Have breakfast at your hotel before your representative picks you up for the airport transfer. If your flight leaves before breakfast service starts, the hotel can pack a breakfast box for you to take along. Then you're off for your flight home.
