Turkish Gulets are traditional, all wooden Turkish sailing boats, with a spacious deck that includes a dining area. They vary in size, anywhere from 2 up to 12 cabins, but our Gulet's are usually 6-8 cabins in size. All boats are equipped with basic fishing lines as well as flippers and snorkels to use in the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. The boats will have ample space to relax in or out of the sun as you sail. You will be in a double/twin cabin with en suite shower and WC (equivalent to 3 star standard of accommodation). Smoking is not permitted onboard. A mixture of traditional Turkish and international food is available. The captain and all of the crew have extensive experience of the waters and locations visited on the tour.

What is the best way to get from Basel to Bodrum? Is there any way that we can fly to that would have a direct connection to Bodrum and bypass Istanbul? Do we need to take the train to Zurich in order to fly to Istanbul? Are there any airlines that fly direct to Bodrum from there?

The best option would be to fly with Pegasus Airlines from Basel to Bodrum on 05/07/24. Its via Istanbul SAW and there are no direct flights. Total flight time including layover is approx 5 hours 55 mins and cost will range from $350-500 pp.

There is too much much to say about how wonderful this trip was. From my first hotel Santa Clause hotel in the town of Rovaniemi, to the one night in a glass igloo at the arctic snow hotel it was epic!!!!! Husky sledding was so much fun, I entertained everyone by venturing off track and throwing myself and my passengers into deep snow it was hilarious. The reindeer sleigh ride was wonderful, through an enchanting forest with snow topped trees, snow falling on my face I was laying there thinking wow this is the life! Breakfast was lovely. Then wow to the arctic snow hotel, I've literally been telling every single person I meet they must go, the ice bar was great with banging tunes and having a cheeky shot then throwing the glass against the wall, it was so much fun. I also had a 3 course meal in the ice restaurant that night and it was delicious and such a beautiful place surrounded by ice carvings although -7 inside and that night it was -18 lol. Wow to the glass igloo, it was epic again I can't stop using that word, it was so comfortable and cosy inside compared to the bitter cold outside, lying on the bed looking at the stars and then seeing the northern lights was wonderful. The breakfast the next day was I think the best I've had anywhere in the world. Lingonberry crumble with caramel sauce...was only my starter lol.
