Itinerary
- Day 1
Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast in Kampala, you'll get picked up and head toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. There's a stop at the Equator where you can grab photos and pick up local crafts. The drive takes you through the Rwenzori Mountains, and once you arrive at the park, you'll check in before jumping into a game drive to look for wildlife. Lunch happens during your time there, then in the afternoon you'll take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where hippos, crocodiles, and various birds are pretty active. An evening game drive rounds out the day before dinner and your overnight stay.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll start early with a game drive on the Kasenyi Track and Queen's Mile, looking for buffalo, elephants, lions, and leopards. From there, you head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, driving through Ishasha where tree-climbing lions sometimes show up. The journey's a bit long, so you'll arrive in the evening at Bwindi. After settling in, there's dinner and rest to prepare for the next day's gorilla trek.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi
After a quick breakfast, a ranger from Uganda Wildlife Authority briefs you before heading into the rainforest to track mountain gorillas. You'll have an hour to watch and photograph them, which is something different every time depending on which gorilla family you find. Later, you transfer to Lake Bunyonyi through the Kigezi Highlands, arriving in the afternoon. A boat cruise takes you around Africa's second deepest lake and its 29 islands. Evening brings you back to the lodge for dinner.

Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala
After breakfast, you drive back toward Kampala, passing through Mbarara. You'll stop at Igongo Cultural Centre for a traditional lunch and can visit their cultural museum if you want. On your way back to Kampala, there's another Equator stop for final photos and souvenir shopping. This wraps up your tour.
