A driver picks you up from Cairo airport and takes you to your hotel. At 6:00pm, you'll meet your tour group and guide in the hotel lobby. After that, the evening is yours to wander around Cairo and get a feel for the city on your own.

Cairo to Alexandria
This morning you head to Alexandria, Egypt's second largest city. You'll see the Library of Alexandria from outside, go below ground to explore the Catacombs, check out Pompey's Pillar, and visit the Citadel castle that sits where the famous Alexandria Lighthouse once stood. By evening, you're back in Cairo for the night.

- Day 3
Cairo
An early start at 7:30am takes you to Cairo's most famous sites. Your guide walks you through the Pyramids and Sphinx, explaining these 4,600-year-old structures and their history. Then you head to the Grand Egyptian Museum of Cairo, which holds over 120,000 ancient Egyptian relics. You return to your hotel afterward.

Cairo to Aswan
You'll fly from Cairo to Aswan and start with a city tour led by a local guide. The first stop is the Unfinished Obelisk, where you can see how ancient Egyptians went about quarrying and shaping stone. From there, head to Philae Temple on an island in the Nile, dedicated to the goddess Isis. After checking into your hotel, there's an optional traditional Nubian dinner in the evening if you're interested in trying local food and culture.

- Day 5
Aswan
You'll start before dawn at 04:45 if you want to take the optional trip to Abu Simbel, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's really worth it for anyone interested in history. The temples there are carved right into the mountainside and you get to see them in a way most visitors don't. After heading back, you'll board a traditional felucca sailboat for a 1-night cruise down the Nile River. The sail itself is relaxing, and you'll have time later in the afternoon to walk around Aswan on your own, check out the riverbanks, or just wander through the local streets at whatever pace feels right.

Kom Ombo - Edfu - Luxor
Your coach departs for Kom Ombo, where you'll walk through a temple built to honor both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, which gives it a unique dual-dedication layout. From there, continue to Edfu to see one of Egypt's largest and best-preserved temples dedicated to Horus, with its impressive pylons and hieroglyphic carvings still intact. Later, you'll board a traditional felucca sailboat for a calm afternoon sailing on the Nile River. Back in Aswan by evening, you'll have time to walk around the city on your own, check out the souks, or just relax along the riverfront.

Later in the evening, you'll head to Luxor Temple to explore its chambers in low light, which gives the space a different feel. The guide will share details about its origins dating back to the 14th century B.C.

- Day 8
Luxor to Cairo
You can start the morning with an optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor if you'd like that experience, then your guide will take you through the Valley of the Kings where you'll see royal tombs carved directly into the desert rock. After that, you'll check out the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon before heading to the airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Cairo
Start your day at the Grand Egyptian Museum where you'll find over 120,000 artifacts spanning thousands of years of Egyptian history. The collection is extensive so plan to spend several hours here. After that, head to the Citadel of Saladin, perched on a hilltop overlooking the city. The fortress itself is impressive, and inside you'll see the Mohammed Ali Mosque with its Ottoman architecture and elegant interior. By afternoon, make your way to Khan el-Khalili bazaar in the old city. This is where the real experience happens, wandering through narrow lanes filled with spice sellers, jewelry shops, and textile stalls. Haggling is expected and part of the fun here, so come ready to negotiate prices on whatever catches your eye.

Amman - Ajloun - Jerash
Following breakfast, your guide leads a city tour through Amman with stops at the Citadel and Amphitheatre. You then head toward Ajloun to see castle ruins, and continue to the ancient city of Jerash with its impressive Greco-Roman ruins dating back to the Bronze Age. Optionally, you can hike the Ajloun Natural Reserve trail. You return to Amman as evening arrives.

Petra
You spend the full day exploring Petra with your guide. Wear comfortable walking shoes because there's plenty of walking involved. Your guide takes you to the Pharaoh's Castle, Triumphal Arch, Amphitheatre, Siq, Treasury, and other sites, sharing stories about how this ancient city was rediscovered after being lost for so long.

- Day 15
Petra - Shobak Castle - Dead Sea - Amman
You'll start the morning with breakfast before heading to Shobak Castle, where your guide shows you around the Crusader fortress ruins dating back to 1115. The coach then takes you to the Dead Sea, which sits at the lowest point of dry land on Earth. Once there, you can swim in the extremely salty water and float without much effort, followed by a mud bath using the natural minerals found there. After that, the drive back to Amman gets you to your accommodation for the evening.
