The hotels, which were actually mostly palaces, and the tour guides and driver -all were beyond our highest expectations! We were treated like royalty everywhere we went, people were kind and humble with us. The main tour sites, such as the Taj, the Amber Fort, and Ranthambore Safari attractions were all exquisite -we even had a close encounter with a Bengal tiger! They only disappointment was the condition of the roads in India and all of the plastic trash along the routes, which was being consumed by all sorts of animals, but this is sadly beyond Touradar's control.Show more

  October to March is good time as this time is winter. The winter start in northern part of India from Oct to Mid of March and on peak of winter is mid of Dec to mid of Jan. Also please note the Oberoi and the Taj hotels are luxury hotels and the hotels which we used in this tour are 5 Star deluxe hotels. Please note the price for 5 Star luxury hotels will be USD 7050 /- Per Person.

  Can you tell me one or two names of your 5 star...Im sure its fine but that is one part of the vacation that the wife has to give approval. We are making progress together. You offer of a private tour guide is SOOO appreciated. The last thig I want to do is hold up the group. But how would tht work....Especially between cities. As I think, our guide in one city will bring us to the train and the group for the next destination. No problem at all to meet a new guide, In fact that would be a wonderful way to meet and spend time together.

  Please find the list of 5 Star deluxe hotels as below: Hotel The Lalit / New Delhi, Hotel Grand Mercure / Agra, Hotel Ramathra Fort / Ramathra, Hotel Aangan Resort / Ranthambore, Hotel Samode Bagh / Samode. Please note you have different different guide in every city, except at Ramathra as its for leisure and relax. Also during the trip you have one driver for entire trip from day 1 to day 12. Also during the trip there is no train.
